Not 40K related, but GW teased that they're planning to revisit Warhammer Fantasy:

Warhammer: Old World

I just want to get Grimgor Ironhide...
I don't trust GW after what they did to Warhammer Fantasy, what they have pulled with 40k and allowing SJW trash in the Black Library and those awful books for kids. It's going to take quite a lot for me to be willing to spend money on their stuff. I remember GW pulled some bullshit during Storm of Chaos but can someone remind me?

Okay so this cheap plastic shit must cost next to nothing to produce, anyone knows if the chinese make it so you can purchase like a whole army for 5$?

No, they don't. You can get bootleg warhammer stuff on ebay pretty easily, but it's only about 2/3 the cost of the real stuff, and it's nearly all copies of forge world stuff and not the mainline GW plastics.

My chinamen recasters generally sell their stuff for a fifth of the price for mainline GW products, and one third of the price for larger vehicles and Forge World stuff.

"You get the idea – this is a long way off. Years. More than two. Like three or more. Definitely not soon."
Oh, so I gotta wait half a decade before they unsquat the orcs and goblins line. Fine I'll pay $80 for the box on ebay and learn to recast.

I was poring over the leaks from CA 2019 and it looks like the only army suffering impactful point increases is Chaos Daemons, which is great because goodness knows Daemons are really dominating the tournament scene.

/sneed

Exalted Flamers got a big points drop, so I guess that's good for Tzeentch players.

Between this and the lack of meaningful Tyranid point drops, I blame Cruddace. He can't stand it when a melee army does anything beyond stand there helplessly and get shot by his tanks.

Awwwwwwright bolter bitches.

Hope they finally get the attention and popularity they deserve this time around, and maybe more vehicles than a fucking rhino.

And possibly better writing than just an unlikable mass of dumb zealots and zero individuality who exist only to be killed off in droves to make the "real heroes" look better and to make Matt Ward's wee-wee hard

This box sold out pretty much instantly, which is a good sign. They've already confirmed multipart kits for basic gunline squads, Repentias, Seraphim, and penitent engines, plus a redesigned Exorcist, some kind of flying flamethrower-pulpit, and this thing:

I'd say we're off to a decent start.

When Living Saints aren't grimdark enough for you here come the Dead Saints.

I've long wanted some Krieg Guardsmen, but lately I've been considering Arkan Confederates instead.

Seems like conversations could be as simple as putting kepi cap heads on Cadian bodies.

The Arkan Confederates have, like, no official lore, so really you could do whatever you wanted with them. Kepi cap heads are kind of hard to come by, though; I had a look around, and not many third-party manufacturers have them. These are probably your best bet:

Anybody know a good place to get Post-Heresy World Bearer pauldrons and modifications for Rhinos and Land Cruisers?
Forge World only has Pre-Heresy pauldrons and Horus Heresy vehicle mods.
I was thinking about getting a custom request from this guy on Etsy called God Forge, but it looks expensive.

There stuff looks to be on par with most 3rd party providers in terms of quality and cost. The sisters armour set is only £8 so for so doors and a dozer blade that’s a good price imo.

Don't get me wrong, the stuff looks great!
It's just not what I'm looking for.

I am surprised that there is not a cabal of 3D printer users selling them on the dark web tbh.

Generally speaking, if you have the skillset/equipment to make 3D printed parts or 3D models, you're better off making your own designs and selling them openly on shapeways or something, vs trying to illegally sell them on the down low to a much smaller, much less trustworthy customer base.

Also, 3D printers that are on par with traditional manufacturing are expensive and rare, there's a reason third party bits makers that have access to high grade printers will often use them just to print out the master models and then make a traditional mold for the actual production (I know that's how kromlech does it).

Popgoesthemonkey is probably your best bet for shoulder pads or vehicle insignia.

Thanks for the info, I just bought some Word Bearer shoulder emblems from that site!

No problem. Thabks for bringing up godforge, I've been needing some custom aggressors pads for a while and popgoesthemonkey has like 80 other projects in the queue before he'll start taking new commissions.
