I feel like it's a character that controls more than one faction. Fits Girlyman, Silent King, and Abbadon, but not so much Mortarion and Magnus.

Space Marine Chapter Master feels beneath this designation. It's actually a relatively small force they are in charge of. Dante I guess counts as he's in charge of half the Imperium. Mortarion at least it's implied to have a much more Great Crusade level legion in tact (not sure what shape modern day thousand sons are in). However rather low on the totem pole Imperial Guard general would be in charge of millions often from different factions with in the Guard.

I won't be surprised if GW throws a Lion under the bus again, keeps him being an Incel deep in the rock, and brings back one of the other lost, "dead", or even legit dead Primarchs back instead.

I agree. I was making an exception for Dante as like you said, he's running the "Dark Imperium". I can also see "Supreme Commander" as an upgrade for Daemon Princes aside from Daemon Primarchs. Depends on what GW is doing with the ability before we can really judge who else would be "eligible".

If a new primarch comes around, it should be someone who doesn't like Girlyman very much (but not to the point they're willing to fuck the imperium over) and has actual power (not shards of chapters). Russ or Dorn are good candidates in that regard, each having a lot of interesting interaction with the new imperium. Though Dorn is probably best, while Guilliman ended up accepting the new imperium, Dorn will not yield on what happened to it.

If anyone else returns, it's going to be Vulcan. The bright, noble and inclusive era of NuHammer needs a big, greed, friendly mascot to appropriately represent this new shift in the philosophical approach to the narrative/setting.

Ok, so like what the fuck is even going on with the void dragon now? For the longest time we thought it was the only unsharded Ctan. But now the silent king shows up after chilling for 65 million years and suddenly he just has shards of it? What was the thing the emperor put to sleep on Mars? Didn't he put that down in like, the middle ages?

Like the obvious answer that makes sense is that the dragon was only partially sharded and still is mostly intact on Mars. I just don't know if I like that, seems kinda sad that instead of one we now have none. The threat of it waking up also seems lessened, because I bet after we get 2 more loyalist primarchs, girly man and whichever other 2 we get I could believe taking on a sharded C'tan. It also takes away from one of the greater feats of the Emperor.

I guess a way that could be interesting is that it will serve another event of Necrons and the imperium teaming up if it does wake up. But even then that's a stretch since The silent king only really has a relationship with Dante and the blood angels. BUT that could also serve as a story point to introduce a loyalist fulgrim or serve to perhaps reintroduce sanguinius. But even then that's a stretch.

Thanks for coming to my red talk.

They seem to have had a weird thing about downplaying the C'tan for years now, the Void dragon was a genuinly disturbing and intrguiging concept, now it's just another poke-tan.

Arch stopped by The Outer Circle, another problematic Youtube channel.

Normally, this channel doesn't talk political.
Today is an exception to the rule.
With the flak he has copped lately, I wanted to give Arch the chance to come onto my platform and share some of his issues of late, as well as venting some of my own. I personally was surprised, I found Arch to be very easy to talk to, and we discussed some mutual topics off-air prior to the video (which I smashed out in editing in record time after the chat). I do understand people disliking the political angle, but honestly, it is pretty fair from him in most places, and I honestly do now like the guy having chatted to him.
This episode will not impress everyone, but do try to see the merit in the topic, and debate that. If you choose to unsubscribe, over some free opinion,
YOU WILL BE MISSED
So stay around and if you disagree, debate it and tell us why. Exclusion isn't the answer, showing people the error of their ways is.

TOC has stayed completely out of politics, so Sigmarxism hasn't targeted him... yet. GW supposedly hates him for calling their shit out, though.

TOC is very critical towards GW in regards to pricing (he’s Australian and their prices are extremely high), the sculpts, and the rules of 40k. I understand where he comes from, but it can come across very salty. He is a big fan of the Horus Heresy game, it’s no surprise that he is very critical; an HH army is at least double the price of a 40k army considering it’s all Forge World.

He was absolutely seething about the primaris box. It was almost funny.

Some batches of old vallejo primer have this issue. Also alclad II gloss black, before they fixed the microfiller formula, was notorious for coming off. What primer did you use?

RUST-OLEUM Painter's Touch 2X Ultra Cover Flat Black Primer.

I think Goobertown recommended that in their starter video on mini painting. It was the most digestible video I could find on starting out, but I was always dubious of that part.

Planning on practicing on some reaper minis before anything I cherish though, so I may still try it unless strongly dissuaded.

The only time I had that problem with Rustoleum primer was when I was priming some jump packs I got off Shapeways; the plastic they use doesn't play well with rattle-can paint. Never had an issue with GW plastic or resin, or any of the other third-party stuff I've tried. My main issue with Rustoleum primer is that it doesn't always give good, even coverage, and sometimes it can really kill fine details if you're not very careful. I've largely switched to rattle-can Wraithbone; it's spendy, but it works really well.

So I have a question. Lets say someone charges my 2 dawneagle jetbike squads (with a shield commander). Couldnt I hypothetically use Stooping dive to charge first in their turn, then after that is done(if there is even anything left) I could use Unstoppable destroyer on my shield commander to consolidate outside of combat and effectively negate their charge?

I miss Oldcrons. They were tragic beings trapped in a Faustian bargain. Newcrons are just, like, conquistadors or something. Now that they no longer hate and envy all life, they're actually much less evil than the Imperium.

It'd help if I knew what any of those abilities did.

Stooping Dive could only affect a unit that was not successfully charged, since the strategem says that you can charge as if it were your charge phase. Can't charge if you are already in combat.

For Unstoppable Destroyer, you can't negate the charge but you can get out of combat.

Also, turns out GW dedicated the Custodes codex to Alan Bligh if you look on the third page. Nice touch.

Yea, misread stooping charge, shame cause that could have been a silly combo. But I cant complain since we are actually getting the cp to use some of the best stratagems around. So its a good buff itself.

It'd help if I knew what any of those abilities did.
Sorry, only custodes chads need apply.

The problem with Oldcrons was that they had the personality of a head of lettuce, both in terms of fluff and in crunch. Worse, the phase out rule was completely retarded and led to all sorts of goofy calculations and army tweaks.

And while the Newcrons are less 'evil', it seems their latest gambit to push back the warp has had some spectacular side effects, per events in Psychic Awakening.

Seems really expensive for a box of really cool minis with okayish rules. Only way I can see this not resulting in backlash is the minis aren't exclusive to the box and get released further down the line.

I'm sure they will be. GW already confirmed this is a limited-run set, so we're most likely going to see them broken up into unit boxes later on.
