In case you people forgot, The LE of Ravenor and the Siege of Terra map are up for preorder in the US(they have been for 2 hours). So go over now if you care.

Literally slept throught he Siege of Terra map going up for preorder and selling out.

Guess I'll wait for the inevitable Chinese reprints. Maybe I can get it on cloth as a tapestry.

The art was posted to DeviantArt, Reddit, and other sites in high res by the original artist, heh.

Less than half the price and cloth instead of paper. 594mm x 420mm is 23.3858 inches x 16.5354 inches, so the $25 small is probably the right size.

I’ll always hold a candle for Nurgle since it was my first fantasy arms back in the days of 6th. But Slanesh definitely needs some tlc for the marines line.

Nurgle is the main reason I got into Warhammer in the first place. He'll always be my top pick. But Slaanesh is solidly my second-favorite Chaos God and he deserves new Noise Marines ASAP.

I would be tempted to start the sons of malice I've always thought about doing it they redid noisy boys and berserkers.

Looks like the new preview will be slaneesh and nurgle stuff. Noise bros... are we ready to rise?

sorry bro but I think the decay part is 40k to tease the Death Guard stuff and the decadence is AOS which might introduce new slaanesh mortals.

I'm gonna have to hit you with a cringe there bud.

Normally its a terrible idea to rely upon the enemy's stupidity to win your battles for you. When your enemy is the IoM, its actually a pretty safe thing to hedge your bets with.
A favorite Eldar tactic until the IoM also start flailing at them too. You should never underestimate how stupid the Imperium can be.

Well, the trouble the Eldar have is that instead of just gently pointing the retarded 800 pound gorilla in the direction of what they want smashed to let it do its thing, and standing back and watching the carnage, they keep trying to tard wrangle in a more specific direction, and even the dumbest moron eventually realizes he's being lead around by the nose when you're literally dragging him by it. And then they just smash the Eldar with tard rage, and then whatever the Eldar also wanted smashed because fuck it, they're already there and its inevitably some sort of threat to the IoM anyways, and they laugh at the Eldar for their stupidity because all the fucking xenos needed to do was let them know this was here.

So do any of you know the heresy Marvel comics did?

I don't where this rank in the biggest bullshit in the franchise but even if you don't like Galgar but this is uncalled for. I really don't see how Marvel thought GW wouldn't be reacting negativel to that, sure it's obviously won't be canon but it doesn't change it did happen in the first place

I watched a video on this.
GW having the audacity to have a recognized figure treated like this is appaling and retconning decades of lore is disturbing.
Strap in for a ride, everyone.
If this is canon and more comics like this are made, we're looking at business as usual for Marvel (not a good thing)

Eh. I'm more annoyed by the fact that GW already did this whole "bait-and-switch character" thing four years ago in Praetorian of Dorn. It would have been more interesting to explore this angry Khornate guy further.

What exactly is the big deal of Calgar being an adopted name? Just seems to be angry for no reason. A name isnt particularly important in a universe where some humans are named numbers, Astartes adopt names all the time, and custodes have 100s to thousands of name each. Let's say Dante's backstory novel ever came out. Dante was adopted as a name to honor a friend. What feats in Dante's 1600 years of service does that diminish? In fact, the official backstory was that Dante was a little bit of a pussy before he became one of the sky warriors.

Like let's really look at what the comic told. It says that a friend helped little Calgar out and was an hero, and Calgar takes the name to honor him. Literally what does this change about Calgar or his character? Nothing really, especially since people who haven't seen that statue of actual Calgar probably have no idea.

I'm all for calling out retcon changes and the such, but this literally does not matter, there is no way you can twist this into saying they are ruining Calgar's character.

Because with Marvel, that's where it starts. It's never where it ends. The past 10 years, last 5 especially, they're known for 2 things -- sub-par and falling art, and sub-par woke bullshit writing, both caused by diversity hires who are immune to editors.

If Marvel continues to be Marvel, I can guarantee you by the end of these Comics we'll have (pick your favorite):
  • Some form of "Non-Binary" bullshit shoved in just to "piss off the right kind of people," (the sane) -- possibly an AdMech, since they already started shoving "Nonbinary AdMech" into the BL books.
  • A Space Marine who was TOTALLY SECRETLY A STUNNING AND BRAVE WAMMYN who went out in an AMAZING BLAZE OF GLORY which leads someone important (Cawl, maybe) to ask whyfor we no use more STUNNING AND BRAVE WAMMYNS for Marines. Possibly with the ending showing a bunch of of STUNNINANBRAVEMARINEWAMMYNZ in test tubes awaiting Cawl to activate them.
  • Gay Space Marines, probably with a tragic end, like one of them dying and the other going berserk in response. Bonus if they get to retcon some existing character gay, like I dunno the Lion or Cypher or something.
  • A Custodes lecturing someone on how the Emperor's REAL plan for mankind's future was SPACE COMMUNISM because he was KARL MARX in one of his incarnations.
... ok, that last one might be a bit far, but who knows. The point is that Marvel is known for retconning shit to "fix" things and they couldn't wait a single book before they started doing it to 40k.

Bro, Black library has already done non binary pronoun shit. Youre also just wrong if you think that marvel has that sort of creative control, and not the in house lore master. I mean fuck they put random as wolves on that planet after the Ambul fight. Like fuck you should be more worried about ADB then some cliche story about a name.

Yes, and that book was one of the worst selling and reviled title in their library.

I can be worried about both, right?

Looks like both boxes actually make up a patrol detachment so that’s good. Price though i’d say we’re looking £120.
