I believe Chosen are going to be squatted for that reason, the lack of a dedicated kit and they are far too customizable for modern GW.
I can fully believe the chosen getting removed or merged into another chaos unit, like an upgrade choice for standard CSMs (if it hasn’t already, I haven’t collected them in years). It’s shit like this is a big reason people move over to Space Marines.

Whenever GW updates anything other than the poster boys, other races always get watered down more into a catch all faction with little to no variety. Seriously I’ve been waiting on a night lords/iron warriors character for years, yet the closest we get to the former is some black legion faggot we’ve never heard of. As for the latter, we even have statted up Uriel Ventis now, so where’s my Honsou GDubbs?

One day I'll have an official Decimus model for my Night Lords.
At least a third party made a solid Talos model to run as a lord.

Honsou wouldn't sell anywhere close to Uriel and you know it.
You're simpering doesn't show much iron within brother.

Death Guard players been real quiet since the codex dropped. We went from “GW is destroying us again” to complete and utter silence.
I don't like the new DG Codex at all, save for the contagions. It lost so much flavor. Typhus is just a pure CC monster now for some reason, which is so contrary to what he should be. It wouldn't have been too hard to give him an ability that lets him supercharge a Smite so that any Infantry he zaps with it can reinforce a nearby mob of Poxwalkers. I'd much rather have that than a flat 3 damage in CC.

I still haven’t been able to play a game with them but the recent faq removed the lord of death daemon prince so that was a boost.

All I remember people were playing typhus just to boost poxwalkers.

There's also a good regular lord styled for Night Lords.

Theyre leaning into the "pre-behemoth" Tyranids.

They technically do have chosen models, they are just from the 6th-7th edition starter sets. But I have trouble seeing what could replace them in terms of a veteran unit if they were taken out of the codex.

Would there be a use for propaganda in the Imperium? In my digital graphics course I was pretty interested in the style of WWII Soviet propaganda, the striking visuals utilized for the common citizen and the hero veneration of the glorious Red Army. I feel the Imperium has little need to remind a fervently religious population what to do but I don't know I kind of want to print out posters to add to my terrain.

The imperium is literally filled with propaganda. It's almost all propaganda.

yes but I think its propaganda in the same way that Medieval stained glass was to illiterate peasants. I don't know how many Imperial citizens can read. It's more like information through striking religious symbols and visuals but combined with the technology to print tons of large banners and visuals for trillions of Imperial citizens.

Edit: I think there would also be tons of speakers set up also to announce victories and reminders to the population while working in manufactorums or waiting in bread lines.

The imperium does not consist solely of churches and priests. It is not even the majority.

What do you mean? Is that art from the upcoming codex or something?
This is the catachan devil. It has been theorized that it, and many other species in the galaxy, are actually ancestors of early scouting Tyranids life forms that appeared long before behemoth. If you compare the old and this new design of the catachan devil, it has become more tyrannic.

This.

Without it, the imperium would fall apart quickly. Maintaining the minds and hearts of its populace is their Achilles heel, so to speak.

Even guilliman has started catering towards the imperial cult in his speeches, as he knows shit will go south if people start losing faith.

While the namesake might be one of the most destructive warlords in the setting, Shahan’s quick to let us know “there’s nothing to fear from Abaddon despoliator. They’re harmless.”
'Armless, more like! Either way, par for the course of ol' Abby.
