The videos are gone from the Astartes youtube channel and are apparently going to be exclusively on the Warhammer Community site from now on (which is obviously going to reduce visibility) also the videos have been edited which probably means Astartes guy doesn't have full creative control anymore.
It's almost like GW is pulling retarded shit on purpose to make up for doing something good.

GW having influence over them is something I am unsure of, don't know if it's affected stuff like the webcomics. I read a few Big Brothers when they first were being posted, but didn't follow them up to and after being official.

Okay there is one music edit I liked. When the marines start fighting the psykers you hear a faint violin sound every time they do their psyker shit and when the marines rip out that spinal thingy it ends on a abrupt cord. I think the edits people hate is the intro scene and I think GWs player has shit sound or something.

We admech now.

A few things.
I am genuinely happy for all these animators as they can work on official Warhammer 40K projects now. And credit to GW for recognizing the talent involved in these projects and offering them to work in their animation studios.
I am genuinely surprised that Mark Louis Spark wasn't offered a position, but I also wouldn't be surprised he wasn't given the breakdown he had following Death of Hope.
I wonder if SODAZ will be given a spot in the future?

Death of Hope had some cool trailers but imo the actual short film fucking sucked, pure amateur hour, especially compared to Astartes.
Also what breakdown? What did the guy do?

He literally couldn't handle the YouTube comment section criticizing Death of Hope, so he decided to stop making the sequels.

people got mad because he wrote "this is for the real warhammer fans(whatever the fuck that means)" and people gave him shit for that, AND about the quality of the short.

If they're setting the Tau to be the latest faction to beat the crap out of the children of Asuryan, I'll eat my hat.
I have a feeling that since it's called EXODITE, that the eldar will push their shit in.
