Trying some new resin from Epax today that was super cheap. Decided to start printing a Thunderbolt fighter to go along with the Marauder. We'll see how it turns out...the file itself was quite messy in the meshing department.

Did they cancel the Eisenhorn series or is that still going on?

You mean the TV series? There's been minor news in the past month reasserting that it's still going to happen.

Assuming it does, I doubt that it'll be an adaption of the books since they continuously hop to different locations, some of which are very extravagant. My guess is that it'll be an original, miscellaneous adventure (or several) told within a limited number of crafted film sets, fitting within the budget constrains of a typical, non-contemporary sci-fi show. Don't expect the production quality of the Mandalorian.

As long as we get an angry, scowling asshole blasting heretics with his gunbunny harem of Pariahs known as his Distaff (no, I'm not joking about the Pariah harem nor its name, and only somewhat about their gunbunny status), I'll be happy. Especially since it will almost certainly be as memetic as 40k itself is. Oh, and then for non-Pariah women there's Arianhrod esw Sweydyr, Celtic Warmaiden, Medea Betancore, his pilot, Kara Swole, big-breasted gymnast and ass-kicker...

By the Emperor, some men get all the luck! Well, aside from the facial torture that means he's as capable of smiling as a Tommy Lee Jones character.

So APPARENTLY Cursed City has been scrubbed entirely from everything GW. It sold out of course but apparently it is a one and done which puzzled many people. Some how Brexit is involved here and even though GW sold out of the box due to the Tax they get slapped with making products not in Britain they got absolutely fucked to the point they rather scrap the entire brand. Kinda sad something that hyped many people became one of the biggest GW fuck ups in a while.

This doesn't stop here you got the typical scalping but people are somehow fucking shop lifting a large ass $200 box right out of game stores just to get their hands on it.

They set up Cursed City to have Blackstone fortress-like expansions down the road for sure, there's got to be some fuckery going on behind the scenes.

It always pissed me off they moved a bunch of production to China. The company has more then enough cash to pony up for another factory in the UK or even one in the EU. It’s not the first time GW got screwed over by things involving production in China. Anybody remember the issues they had with the Sylvaneth release in 2019? It had to be pushed back for months.

They are building a factory in America. China only gets the side games along with certain models.

Alrighty, got a fresh Thunderbolt fuselage off the plate. It actually turned out pretty good considering the amount of weird internal polygons were messing with the hollowing and whatnot. Some resin welding and a bit of greenstuff will get it all fixed up. Now for some wings and the rear engine.

If you've used AK grime effects or any MiG modelling equivalent, you've already used enamel washes, which are a form of oil paints. Also enamel dries incredibly slow and is thus much friendlier towards wet on wet blending.
You do have to wait a week for it to fully cure though.

It looks like the latest new must-do thing among 40k weirdos is using oil paints on their minis.
Just before that the Warhammer tubers discovered gundam panel liners and paint pens. Before that it was painting with pure ink. Some of them have been trying those dollar store acrylic paints and getting the results you’d expect.
Cant wait for them to find out Tamiya does spray primers, it’s good stuff btw just hard to find in store.

Gun metal is probably my favourite spray they’ve done and they stick to bare plastic really well.

I can'r recall if the Tamiya spray cans are lacquer, or "acrylic" (tamiya's acrylic paint is a weirdo combination of nitrocellulose solvent with acryl binder and pigment, so most people thinning them with water or rubbing alcohol are in for clumps of wet sludge paint).
I still think it's a good think the 40K hobbyists try out stuff outside of freaking citadel. Maybe learn from jet or tank modellers some neato tricks to add to vehicles.
