Maybe they're redesigning her with GW's recent 'make everything a diorama' philosophy. I think St. Celestine is one of the last, if not the last, major character to get a model that didn't have them standing on a fucking rock or part of a 'scene.'
Pretty sure Celestine got a new model at the end of 7th in one of the Gather Storm releases. It was in the Fall of Cadia box along with Cawl and random inquisitor woman.
The realise was back in January 2017 though. Judging by GW usual release pattern 4 years is way too soon to cycle through another model.

Did they ever start selling her on her own? For a while there you had to buy a bundle. The "Triumvirate of the Imperium."

So Bruva Alphabusa series was really stopped by GW?
No, he just assumed he would be (or found an easy way to quit while gaining pity points). Fuck I wish I was that good on patreon grifting. He pretty much has UBI for life from retards that think giving money away is a form of protest.

Ah i didn't know that, good thing i asked then

Printed off a Saint Celestine model I found that looked pretty good. When I went to compare it to the actual model on the GW site, the model is apparently gone from the store. Being rolled into a new box I assume?
Yeah new box. GW is going back to having the models behind a backdrop to make it look like they are in a warzone instead of a gray backdrop.

Will my custodes finally be free of TTS memeing? Probably not, but I had the last laugh.
I thought the custodes jokes were fine until they soiled the contemptors with Santodes. I thought they dropped the whole pillar men lol naked thing then introduced him.

Current box was not that cool...

Also looking at it, it still has the old logo. Thinking about it I bet the box also contains the 7th ed rules (since they bundle the stats with the model).

Sigmar is mogging us again 40k bros, what are we gonna do?
Sadly GW is just more conservative with their 40k range. They could add a new weird and interesting xenos faction... but they won't. They could easily give the mechanics clockwork dragon mounts, or give chaos some kind of weird daemon dragon mount... but they won't.
But don't worry, I'm sure soon we'll get another character (n power armour most likely) staring intensely into the middle distance while posing on some debris.
Although some of the Ork stuff seems interesting.

If I can play the dragons without Sigmarines attached to them I'll consider it. Until then...no thank you GW.

Is there anything different about them other than having Duncan's name attached? I love the two thin coats guy as much as the next but I just bought a bunch of Scale 75s so I haven't being paying attention
Theyll probably just be good paints. Can never have enough.

Huh using the seals as support to keep it further off the air is clever but also a bad idea given its very likely to break
If you ever seen the model it wiggles on its base. Could always put a flying base on it, but then it wouldnt look as good. And you dont want her to end up like shrike....
