WB owns Adult Swim, I know who I'm playing as.

Pennywise not sure if they have the game rights to Pennywise
On a side note, why are there not more Stephen King games? You'd think someone would utilize his name like Ubisoft uses Tom Clancy, imagine a Dark Tower game or simply an open world game set in King's version of Maine.

The Wicked Witch of The West - WB is always putting Oz stuff in crossovers
Which is kind of odd considering Oz was originally MGM, how did WB wind up with the rights anyway?

Sloth from the Goonies - was in the Lego game and a series WB is always milking with merch
The pirate ship would make for a great stage.

Dolores from Westworld - WB really should go into their backlog of movies to pick a western character, but a safe and boring pick would be Dolores from the still running Westworld tv show
It'd be cooler if it was Yul Brynner from the original movie though, "He's a sissy boy, he wants his mama!"

WB own all MGM pre-1986 movies, Ted Turner bought MGM in 1985 and ended up selling everything but the rights to those movies back in 1986. It's pretty much why WB has the greatest library of films. WB also own the rights to most RKO movies, such movies as King Kong and Citizen Kane.

Any pre-1986 movies MGM own all come from studios they bought themselves such as American International Pictures and United Artists.

Also yeah Yul Brynner from Westworld was in it, he was pretty much proto Terminator.

So I was watching this video:
And they pointed out that it’s odd that a Smash Bros clone would have character classes.

So there might be more to it than simply “Smash Bros but WB”.

Her pimp hand is STRONG!

HBO could make for it's own Smash Bros clone, one of the levels could be the shower room in OZ.
I recall a long time ago, I saw a guy on live journal pitching the idea of a Mortal Kombat type game with TV MA characters along the lines of HBO versus FX Network. He came with a proposed roster of characters from Oz, Sopranos, Deadwood, Sex and the City, Six Feet Under, The Shield, Nip/Tuck, It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia, Dirt, Rescue Me, and Damages.

I'll add this to that story: it's long been whispered that Turner only bought MGM to get ownership of "Gone With the Wind" (which is Turner's favorite film of all time). He bought MGM, then sold everything but the film library back to them within a very short period of time, which let him get most of his money back from the purchase.

Also, if you do Westworld; I would argue that Anthony Hopkins/Ford would be another no-brainer for the game if only for the meta of having Ford snarking like a madman at the premise of the game and the other characters..

Also, we need fucking Rorschach in the game too,.

When you put it like that it really feels like it's going to give off those cheap moba vibes.

This project seems like its going to be an inverse of Nick smash where the gameplay will be ass but the budget is huge and you can worry less about copyright.

Dick Dastardly when tho?

Y'know, CN and Studio Trigger always keep working together (and Kill la Kill was on Toonami at one point).

So the question is, will Ryuko join the WB smash game?
