TL;DR - a user named Hungrybox posted a Tweet and a bunch of videos on his youtube channel. One of them got de-listed by WB, which to a lot of people means it's confirmed.

Apparently NetherRealm Studios is working on the game Nope, not them.

Assuming the base game is not shit, which is already assuming a lot, there'd need to be at least enough DLC to match the base roster--and they'd all have to be great picks.

In SSBU, it was sort of the opposite. Base game wasn't shit, initial roster was great, and half the DLC sucked.

Even though I only use a few characters in fighting games, I don't want to see a bunch of trash opponents, so even if they somehow added a few of my absolute favorite characters who are not in SSB it wouldn't be enough to save this dumpster fire.

I think this would be better if the focus was on cartoon characters only that Warner Bros have the rights to (except Rick & Morty and that Steven Universe crap because screw them), not comic book characters, LOTR, etc. It would be more amusing that way.
