Was Chris' dry-up inevitable?

I'm not too familiar with them myself, but from what I can tell it's aging virgins choosing to engage in a form of aggressive virginity instead of taking steps to stop being virgins (the first step being to stop obsessing over virginity). The Blue Pill subforum has a number of threads on them.

Pretty much all of this. OP obviously is lamenting the loss of something they consider extremely personally entertaining and there's no accounting for taste, but I have very little to zero interest in seeing yet another paint-by-numbers, stare-at-the-camera-rant-over-losing-another-hypothetical ex-girlfriend by Chris. But the things you've listed that have taken that tired old plot's place in Chris' story and others that have been drafted to fill the free time no longer spent by him trying to get laid online in his existence are so much more varied, surprising and personally entertaining to me that I reject the entire original premise of the thread as simply not being a TRUE (or HONEST, for that matter) statement of facts about the guy.
 
Re sexuality, I don't think Chris is gay, but I think he does protest too much. My guess would be that he's maybe a little bi-curious. It could even be something like he was turned on by boy-girl porn and assumed that not being repulsed by a naked guy was a sign that he was turning gay. He just doesn't have the maturity to understand conventional sexuality and where he fits into it. As for his gender identity issues, well, God only knows.

Re whether he was always going to dry up, well, let's consider the factors that caused it.

1. The death of Bob
This was always bound to hit him hard, because he hadn't up until then really experienced any hardships of life. Up until then, the worst thing that had happened was Patti dying. Bob was ancient and in terrible health, so he didn't exactly have long to live anyway. So that part was inevitable.

2. Chris wising up
Chris does learn from his mistakes. It takes a long time, and the message he takes from it is usually the wrong one, but it does happen. The lesson he's taken from his experience is not "Maybe I should stop feeding the trolls," but "Everyone In The Troll-Corrupted C**ppy World except Mom is out to get me because they're evil and Greatly Hate Autistics."

So yeah, it was inevitable. I can't help wondering, though, if the resurrection of Simonla is an attempt to restart the trolling. Sounds weird, but what the hell else is there in his life?

This is correct, although there's a difference between the world and the internet for Chris.

Nah, the trolling isn't an aspect of his life, as he sees it.

I do agree with your points. On the note of Simonla, I don't think he is doing it to restart the trolling, persay. Simonla's death represents a significant intrusion into his fantasy world of CWCville. Above all else, Chris is averse to change and wants absolute control. Simonla represented a permanent change in his canon that went against his childish fantasy. The fact that it took two takedowns of his own wikipedia, the Asperchu ads and the numerous calls with Alec to make him budge should give you a good impression of how much he didn't want a change that wasn't his own to leave a permanent mark on his fantasy.

So it's only now, when it's long ceased to be an issue, does Chris unearth his abomination and return his fantasy world to his image of perfection.
 
I kind of feel sorry for the guy. If I were friends with him in high school, I would've done everything in my power to set him on the straight and narrow. I would've taught him how to socialize, get girls. I'd have him try a different hobby, like boxing for example. The kid in me weeps for Christian Weston Chandler. However, as an adult, I regret to say that he is doomed.

Yeah, he's doomed. Now, I know your heart was in the right place with wanting to take Chris and try to make him a better person, but even if you had the chance that wouldn't of been your job to do. Or the school's job or the gal-pal's job. It was Borb's. And instead of trying to raise him to be at least a semi-functioning member of society, they decided to sit him in front of the idiot box and called it good enough.
