was wwe2 necessary?

My grandfather fought in the pacific. On his death bed, he pulled me in close, and told me about Iwojima. I can't believe the shit that happened to him. He burnt like 10 Japanese with a flamethrower, dropped a grenade into a bunker literally packed with people, and barely survived a banzai charge when his gun jammed. He got pulled to the ground, trying to grab the gun and bayonet from the frothing mad japanese soldier. He managed to get the behind the guy and choke him unconscious. He had one more thing to say to me, and pulled me in so close his mouth was right next to my ear. "RAW is war!" he screamed at the top of his lungs. Then he suplexed me.

I miss you pop-pop

what are your thoughts on monoliths and zones?
i see you play stalker too. stalker is the only game that is close to real life that is why it is my favorite. but i don't think people from us should play stalker. they think that getting chased by a pack of wild bloodthirsty dogs is something that only happens in games. but it happens daily. at pripyat kind of looks like the town where i live. so it is the only game i can identify with. people from us don't understand.

on your question i think the monolith is a crazy sect that is actually being funded by c conciousness. i don't really think that ordinary monoliths are that religious about the wish granter but they get offered the best equipment and food and so they go along with it. it's like a giant bureaucracy. i would call it the government of the zone. on the zone there's not much to think about but i think it has been made like that on purpose.

I rate this post 4 stars out of 5 I would of given it 5 stars if it was in the Tokyo Dome

Playing stalker reminds us how nice it is to not be part of the zone IRL and how Stalker is not just a game it's Slav simulator.

I'd more chalk it up to being lucky, and probably a pass thru shot. From your post it's pretty easy to guess he was facing the germans.

Common small arm calibers the germans had were 8mm Mauser 8mm kurz (not very common but being the battle and front he was at a possible) 9mm 7.62x25 (mostly the "tokarov" round due to captures) some of the x25 mauser pistol. In the early war they got some Astras in 7.22x17 and those were quite low powered. Now they had a ton of other rounds as most mils made due and took what they could, for example about 8000 1911s in 45 ACP were made iirc by the dutch. They also had the l30 drilling gun, for air crews both a rifle and 12g shot gun, but these were rare.

Out of the common rounds all of them are pretty darn nasty, the tokarov round esp because it's SANIC gotta go fast it makes ugly wounds. Cheek hits normally are in and out if not fatal. I'd say it's a lot more luck than the lack of power coming from said round.

stalker reminds me of real life even the bandits are pretty much the same in real life as in stalker but the thing is if i try to fight a violent pack of dogs or bandits outside i cannot start over from where i saved last time like i do in stalker. and the ingame accents are similar to real life ones.

oh and my grandfather was fighting croats mostly but they used german weapons i think. and he fought some germans too while reaching trieste. look it up the syrmian front there is a wikipedia article. i am not sure what gun it is i leave it up to you. but my grandpa had a mannlicher m1895 i think which was a pretty awful weapon to use in 1945. my father inherited it but it is unusable so when my grandpa dies he will get buried with it.

Poland was a mistake. DANZIG IS GERMAN. REMOVE KIELBASA.
I don't think they were arguing about Danzig itself, just the Polish Corridor. Though really, all of East Prussia should have stayed German. In one fell swoop of the Versailles treaty, so much land lost to the papists.

A good book I recommend reading is The Wages of Destruction by Adam Tooze. In short the German economy was so fucked even with Speers that it would have self imploded no matter what.

As for the war topic overall. When you literally see peace as a degenerate/materialist act in and of itself. As many far right thinkers did and some still do. From Evola to Hitler. War becomes a status quo goal you seek actively. After all you need war to make your society strong and separate the chaff. I admit I have not read it ( I really should), but Meta-physics of War by Evola highlights this in essence. From what I have skimmed it appears fucking batshit nuts, and goes against every concept of war I have actually seen. He actively defends war for war's sake. But then again I would argue that ties back into the whole issue of Fascism being purely romanticism, nuts, and unsustainable.

After all having factories turning out degenerate consumer goods is bad, because that makes your society soft. So OY VEY WE GOTTA SHUT THIS JEWERY DOWN! But when war comes and you need to mass mobilize, uh oh, you have no civilian factories to turn to make equipment with.

Actively and constantly going to war only hurts you long term. For a whole host of reasons.

How the he'll did you all break a ruck zuck. Aside those clips they are Bomb proof.

Give it to me I'll fix it and make use. Oddly I don't have one. I've shot a few and the /30 bites like a fucking mule.
