A game dev union isn't going to happen any time soon. Regardless if you're pro or anti unionization, I think we can all agree that any game dev union should not be led by Zoe Quinn, Jim Sterling, and the rest of the clique who seem to want a union so they can start blacklisting people again.

They wouldn't even have to do that. Films, social media, and the games press all do well with blacklisting and unions because they are mostly limited to one central location. Hollywood, "silicon valley", and San Francisco. Games don't have that limitation. Hell, there's only 3 big devs that are based in America as far as I know. EA, Activision, and Epic. Ubisoft is French and a look at the credits will reveal mini studios world wide that they outsource things too. Nintendo is Japanese, ditto Sony. Not only that, but most of the tales of developer "abuse" is from outside of the US. Red Dead Redemption was made in Scotland iirc, and Metro was made in Ukraine.

The thought of modern centrism, just like the thought of ancient centrism, is that it's unlikely that either of two sides are completely right or completely wrong, as they have many, many opinions and platforms.

If I have two sides, one says if gays get married the world goes to hell, the other says if gays can't get married the world goes to hell, I'm not agreeing with either position. Those are both dumb extremes and neither is true. That doesn't mean the right answer is right in the middle of all available opinions though, obviously, otherwise the more dumb opinions there are the dumber the right answer is.

Of course these idiots fights among themselves constantly... While simultaneously claiming centrism is bad.
