We don't have a Satisfactory thread? - Satisfactory thread.

They're changing purity values of a bunch of resource nodes for 1.0, which is going to break my uranium processing facility by way of the sulfuric acid plant. Fuel generators are getting a bump from 150 to 250MW but consuming proportionally more materials, so I'll need to re-pipe three different facilities. The base recipe for computers no longer requires screws, so that's an iron mine I can re-tune.

Three steps forward and two steps back, though I think I find it more funny than infuriating.

Meh I was planning on a fresh restart anyway. We know new shit is coming in for tier 10 and I want to do the story line personally. Snutt said if your too far ahead in the tiers the story line will break so Coffee Stain is recommending a fresh run for everyone come 1.0

I wonder when the NDA's for the special testers (ie big you-tubers) will break so we can gets some glimpses of the new things.

Ok I broke down and bought the Lizzard Doggo cuz they have free shipping atm.

It's too cute for words. My niece adores it. I think I might pick up the LP set and make some kind of wall display with it like they do for gold and platinum records. Would look pretty neat in my man cave.

Help, I got this during the steam sale and I've already put too many hours into it. I'm losing sleep making a train network so I can make aluminum.

Sorry it doesn't get any better just wait until you start up your first nuke plant.

Kiss your life good bye for the next 300 odd hours.

Remember when you set up your aluminum plant to always gravity feed and loop manifold your liquids or you'll have to rebuild your scrap factory three times like me.

Friendly reminder (especially for the newcomers) that when it comes to pipelines and fluids in Satisfactory, it is best to read the fucking manual before you dive in. Pipelines are this game's filter.

I was hoping to be able to keep my save, but yeah I am going to have to restart as well. Not the end of the world, but their changes are definitely going to destroy my current build. Shame because it is really good at the moment. I've been taking a bit of a break in anticipation for 1.0 seeing as even though I like Satisfactory, I do wear myself out. I think my biggest gripe with all of it is that I have to get all of the damn hard disk drives again. It was pretty nice having every alternate recipe unlocked... which you guys should be doing because you can eliminate huge annoyances like the need for screws. Fuck screws.

I got the big one for my wife some time ago and yeah, she loves the thing.

I plan to cheat for my hard drives in 1.0. After all I know where they all are and I've gone out and gotten them many times over so yah I"ll use PAK and spawn in like 100 to start with. Ditto for power shards, no way am I doing the doggo farm again. I plan to build big this time, really big and I will need hundreds of shards to overclock everything to keep the number of machines workable.

Other then spawning in drives and shards I will be going straight vanilla for the rest.

You know... 1.0 on the horizon has thrown a wrench into the works. I could have been playing all day today on this fortuitous day off. But instead I was reading the news.

Looking ahead, does anyone else expect a "combat" update or DLC in the future? That seems like an area where some thoughtful improvements could go a long way.

@Sweeter and Savoury I really want to build that stack interchange. I will have to print out those schematics and put them in a folder or something.

I'm pretty sure that Snut has said they dont ever intend for combat to be a big thing so I'd guess no on a combat DLC but that's just my guess.

Been playing a bit o' Satisfactory lately to get back into the swing of things before 1.0 drops... I'm going to miss the sweet Northern Forest uber starting area, but it SHOULD still be decent enough after their tweaks are done. #NorthernForest4Life

changes to hard drives and alternate recipes

They're basically making getting the recipe you want much more likely so you don't waste too many drives.

This is a pretty good change. Finding recipes was what I wanted to do the least in 1.0.

@Null I remember you used to show Satisfactory on streams a few years back. You still play? Or are you going to get 1.0? Don't worry I am not asking to play.

A breakdown of all the new "quantum" stuff coming in 1.0

Mark VI belts move at 1200 units per min! So now you can fully overclock a pure node and use all of it. Finally.

Warning it's 20 mins long. There is a lot of Snutt being...well Snutt.

Yep, it's a longer video, but it's got a LOT of good info packed in there... 1.0 can't come soon enough! 😁
