We have to talk about you faggots not being able to figure out thumbnails

  • 🐕 I am attempting to get the site runnning as fast as possible. If you are experiencing slow page load times, please report it.
TROONNAILS:
● Text too small to read
● Blurry and compressed visuals
● Don't load when you click on them (source: every MATI stream)
● Need to click 5 buttons to thumbnail an image and delete the original full-size image

Readable text ●
Crisp, aliased pixels ●
Load together with the page, ready to view before you even scroll down ●
Drag and drop, and you're ready to go ●​

I just posted my first image; it was already uploaded and included in another post on the site, so I opened it up the image and got the url where it was hosted on KF, clicked Insert Picture at the top of the edit window, clicked the By URL tab, and pasted in the url; then I couldn't figure out how to thumbnail like that so I downloaded the image, then followed the instructions here. Is there no way to thumbnail images you insert that way? Should I not do it anyway, like even if it's hosted here, would the image have broken if the other post where it was uploaded got deleted?

Am I a retarded phone-poster using a desktop?

Just to be certain because I’ve searched for a new user FAQ and couldn’t find one, if I wanted to post a screenshot while on mobile I would screen grab, edit to remove unnecessary parts of image (battery charge, etc.), post the screenshot as an attachment, thumbnail it as Null showed in the video, and then copy the URL of the site I screen grabbed to make an archive and then post the archive link

Is that about right or am I missing something to do this correctly

Jersh put the fear of god into me when I saw him calling someone a nigger for not using thumbnails.

Proper formatting is like a lost art. You can't expect the average new user to the forum migrating from somewhere like /pol/ or the sharty to know immediately unfortunately.

As far as I know you have to download the image yourself and upload it to the post form with attach files to thumbnail it.
