We need a change in 2022 - Suicides and other things

These don’t have to be what is actually implemented if not all but now that we have reclaimed our .net domain we should implement some necessary changes so that someone else doesn’t cause us the same kind of trouble again. Kiwifarms it’s being described as a hate group but it’s actually just an online forum and we need to make that clear. In a hate group like the Ku Klux Klan, Neo-Nazis, and Skinheads, 99% of their members all share the same beliefs that they are the dominant race/people. I’m not a hateful person, I don’t anonymously bully people online.

Proposed Changes for Kiwifarms

1. All those with a history of doxing and IRL in person stalking or swatting of public figure and lolcows are banned for life in the future.
2. All parts of the forums unless stated otherwise will be designated as safe zones from all forms of hateful and derogatory speech.
3. Staff will now make an effort to inform the subject of a lolcow thread directly if they are a potential target for stalking and/doxing even if that subject is not a KF member. Law enforcement shall also be informed if there is a threat of violence or self harm that is too grave to ignore.
4. Encouragement to harm others or themselves shall no longer be tolerated.
5. New crypto address will be dedicated to compensate those who suffer any harm and to use as donations to causes of suicide prevention and LGBTQ+ causes.
6. Those at present who have a history of these actions and other violations of our Terms of Service shall see there actions restricted as a precaution. Your posts will be readable by staff only for a time being.
7. If a potential new member is known to have displayed troubling behavior elsewhere, then the new member in question must be given a formal invite by 3 members with 100 posts or more each and 1 staff member.
8. Kiwifarms has no obligation condone all hateful speech. Kiwifarms may also work with organizations that offer sensitivity training to those who’s hateful speech goes to deep.
9. Kiwifarms shall also have at the top of it’s page a direct link to Suicide and Crisis center.
10. Those who are the subjects of discussion are free to defend themselves but staff are no longer allowed to participate in direct public and private contact that is meant to continue the discussion in a negative fashion until the subject states they can say what they want about them.
11. Kiwifarms will be a safe haven for those who are secretly gay and all other LGBTQ+ who in their real lives have to keep it secret for any reason. And May also express equal levels of frustrations. (This could make some more willing to undergo sensitivity training as they have a chance to interact with such people.)
12. Members of the #DropKiwifarms movement are invited to be staff members to help with these changes and propose additional changes that are needed.
13. Kiwifarms will address all current/eminent threats of violence in the short term to ensure everyone’s safety.

What about whoever is constantly DDOSing the site? How are they going to respond if someone hits them with some sort of cyberattack? You know they'll retaliate and hard too. It's not just Keffals supporters anymore it's these hackers who are also trying to take down the site. They succeeded even when cloudflare was still protecting the site, this new protection service could be broken too.

There hasn't been another major DDoS attack in a couple of days. I'm thinking in the long run just stricter penalties for anyone who doxes and/or bullies and harasses a lolcow in real life that's not kept restricted to the forum as it should have been with Keffals.
