(Most) Jannies need to be rounded up and burned at the stake.

They willingly degrade the quality of their posts and interaction with the community to be moderators.

When people see your post, they don't see "Panthera Rosea" or "AnOminous" or "Muskrat", but they see "Global Moderator". When Null posts normally, it usually gets 2-3x more reaction points compared to other comments, even if its quality is below average, because of the identity. Null's smart and doesn't put a banner under his name or change the names color.

People don't want to interact with mods out of fear of being banned or unfairly targeted in the future, and I don't blame em. They stop being regular people you can call retarded faggots, and people who's existence you have to acknowledge. Colored names should be something you need to voluntarily turn on for every individual post, and only when speaking officially.

I can't imagine having the arrogance or unfunnyness to take away someones stickers for a month and not just give it back after a day or two silently.

Two things.

One is that i've only had a problem with a single kiwi janny and that was Kamov.
After he removed an INFORMATIONAL video for "Stop advertizing your own off topic videos faggot" when infact it wasnt off topic at ALL and was extremely well received.

So i decided to play along and refused to use any links at all until Kamov came under fire, which he did due to Twinkie so in my window of opportunity i decided to look and see if i agreed with Twinkie.

I did and along with that i also grew a hatred for Thotto or as i like to call her "Jannywife". After a few days Kamov and his wife resigned, and while i'm not the kind of person to bully other users extensively beyond banter, I vandalized his profile with Helicopter Crashes.

A while later him and his wife got photos doxxed, Kamov looked like a greeter at walmart and His wife was one of the ugliest hogs i've ever seen.

Do i still throw shade at that faggot? Yes. Am i upset? Hell no, that fag got what was coming.

Second thing is, Staff has always been a hit or miss with me, if staff is chill and doesnt act like a super offended pussy and can take banter, I'm cool with them.

If they abuse power and just Delete something just because they themselves alone don't like it, thats one of the rare times i'm confrontational.

Staff here isnt bad, Just don't act like a Powersperg and learn from the mistakes you do make and you won't have an issue.

TLDR: Kamov is a huge faggot and Don't be a sperg.

I've watched enough threads on various forums, get shit up by low quality posts, to have some sympathy for Jannies.

There's an old pre internet expression that goes "Paper doesn't refuse Ink", which I think is more applicable than ever. Threads get overrun by low effort posters that bury decent comments under a pile of shit.

The big problem with any form of moderation is that people seem to believe that accepting a moderators action is them implicitly agreeing with it. You can accept a decision while still believing the individual that made it is wrong. The forum requires moderators, I personally believe the rules (particularly regarding A&N) are often misapplied, but I don't feel the need to sperg out about it.

I invested hours of my life into the Adrian Harrop and Steven Hayden threads. At least one of the subjects of the threads decided to join using multiple sock accounts, and shit them up untill it got @Kamov Ka-52 's attention. He then promptly ammalgamated them into one abortion of a thread that put off quality posters and essentially put an end to people posting about what those 2 horror shows were getting up to.

2 minutes of work on Kamov's part put an end to a series of high quality posts about two of the most noxious individuals that the farms has ever had threads on.

I kind of understood why he did it though. He had little interest in UK trannies and didn't want them shitting up his inbox. He was demonstably wrong in what he did, but there's no point endlessly fucking whinging about it. Kamov helped the site function, in however imperfect a fashion. Ultimately he's done a lot more good than harm.
