We need to change the rating scoring system

I was looking at the Featured Content and I noticed something a little sad.

As of right now, this post has:
Islamic Content (166), Horrifying (82), Winner (49), Informative (20) ... and some other small ones

We have people posting nasty wonderful content with a general positive reaction to the post, yet @Advice only has a reaction score of 54 because Islamic Content and Horrifying are negative ratings. Islamic Content, Horrifying and Lunacy all give -1, but I have never personally seen any of them used to display true disgust or negative emotion. I don't know if the solution is to make these ratings neutral or to make them positive, but I just feel like someone should point this out. Maybe we could turn these positive but make negative ratings harsher? Maybe add a new positive rating that conveys the same emotion?

I get that they are just little internet stickers but looking at accounts with a very high or very low reaction score can help you gauge if the person is actually a good poster or just a random faggot. People who post amazing content in horrifying threads are going to have lower ratings than people who put in less effort, but the post is not islamic, horrifying or lunacy. Something something reward systems, guys!

The truth is, there's a lot of fuckery and cheating going on the the world of competitive ratings. All the guys on the top didn't get there by hard work and high quality effortposting, they got there by gaming the system with artificial score inflation and covert agreements. I don't want to encourage anyone to get into the high level competitive ratings scene because it's not something you want to get involved in. Keep it as a hobby and nothing more.
