Web Animation - Amazing, Cringe-worthy, Whatever

  • 🐕 I am attempting to get the site runnning as fast as possible. If you are experiencing slow page load times, please report it.
This is a bit of a pull of older internet/youtube, but for anyone who happens to remember a series of animated music videos called “There She Is!!” featuring an anthro cat and rabbit, the creator just released a new video.
It’s actually been out for a couple years, but this is the first time it’s been available for free online.

Posting some downright ancient stuff (and other old but not so old, some of this is almost dotcom era) would upload the SWFs but who cares about those anymore.

This one is 20 years old, but it was the state-of-the-art in flash animation back then.

RAB was the shit back then.

Has anyone ever heard of this show called Bridge Kids? I think it's pretty good it reminds me of old Adult Swim a little.

Seen other stuff from this guy on Newgrounds, it actually feels like something made back in the pre-youtube heyday of the site (with much higher quality of course) and the setting of his videos seem more like the early 2000s than the present day to me, haven't seen any gendershit or anyone holding a smartphone or referencing social media. Plus the two wiggers are straight out of that era.

Just looking at his animation list; I see a nice big flip phone. I really appreciate that.
Smartphones are my personal carbonation grimace and I will die on that hill. Every time I see one in media it pulls me out of it.

Stuff I can recommend for that mid 2000's chill urban vibe:
Slacker 1 and 2
A Men's Room Monologue
Thing Thing
Johnny Rocketfingers
Wasted Youth
Sunday School (If you can stomach the appalling fetish content.)

Aw. The game based on that was excellent.

I think I've found an example of too much effort, not much payoff. No disrespect to PrimatePunk but this didn't do it for me.
