Webcomics (how to draw/market?)

So I've drawn a few basic comics and I'm planning to do more. I've posted a few to an obscure domain where they are likely to get little to no views. Unfortunately, when I try to draw some stuff, characters end up looking odd and I revert back to stick figures. Even if I could draw half-decently, nobody sees them. How do I find help on drawing, and what's the best way to get views?

A good thing to do would share the link of your webcomic. Many people here that draw and like art can give you some constructive criticism and tips to help you draw better.

Sorry, bump: while I did post a few sketches to DA, it's still bad. Sketchy, no name, bodies are a little wonky. (I'm not going to post it, partially because it links to my main Internet personality). Is there a good link out there on DA that is a tutorial on drawing human bodies and heads (heads are hard)? DA tends to give me wrong results for what I think the keywords should be: for example, pretty much everything here is SFW, though while the first result is supposedly a male body figure, it's drawn in some sort of bishonen style with no muscle mass.

You can't learn to draw overnight. It's not something you can just "do." Usually, if you have artistic ability, it is present and matures through your formative years, and by the time you are college aged, you should know if you have it or not. Some people discover painting much later in life, but rarely does anyone develop the skills to draw well if they aren't there already. I'm not sure how old you are, but I'd say that taking college level art classes is probably something that you want to do.

I'm almost out of college. Last semester. Never did too well in art class.

I'm not trying to be an amazing artist--no intention of doing that as a career--I just want to make a webcomic that people would actually want to read and artwork that doesn't cause eye-bleeding.

But, is what I'm getting from this that you can't really draw? That's what I mean, if you don't already have some art skill, it doesn't just happen from some tutorials. Even if it is just for fun. Use macros or cutouts or something silly, like those dinosaur comics.

I'd suggest taking an art class. I know this sounds like one of those cynical pieces of non-advice, but there are plenty of beginner art classes, and even if it doesn't turn you into the next Jack Kirby, it'll point you in the right direction. I took life drawing classes and they helped my artwork immensely, because they taught me the basics of drawing a person. Failing that, there are plenty of good books on drawing people (which is cheaper, but won't give you feedback). Don't make the mistake of thinking that because cartoons are simple, they're easy to draw.

Alternatively, see if you can find an artist who'd be willing to partner up with you. There are plenty of people out there who can draw but not write.
