Toye claims they offered to let Vic go with just taking Marchi's money because 'it's not about the money', but then tried to demand almost $300k for just themselves, and further appealed the costs when they weren't given it, despite getting double what everyone else got. (The fact that Ty wants to depose the mediator sounds like Toye is lying or omitting very juicy details, but in a way that doesn't waive privilege for Vic)

RT tried to kick Vic to virtue signal and get more attention for the start of their new show - that failed and now they're collapsing like a red giant.

Funi tried to go around Toei and cut JP out of the decision making for dubs, and now Toei and the rest of JP are working on their own dubbing company to cut Funimation out of the decision making instead.

As we pass 88,000 posts, I'd like to reminisce on many ways in which God's sense of humor has been on this case. I'll start with three, and feel free to add others.

  • Vic's West Nile song from 10 years ago
  • Armz being an anagram of Marz, after the pic stretched round the world
  • The fact that "Monica Rial" Voldemorts into "Im a con liar"
  • Everyone canceled Vic in 2019, but God canceled everyone in 2020.
  • Ron Toye, the man who defamed Vic as an abuser, turned out to be an abuser himself.
  • The soy boy stereotype is no longer a meme; they now exist in the form of KickVic.
  • After two-three articles demonizing Vic, Sharon Grigsby turns a 180 and suddenly says nice things about him.
  • Zac Berksey did to himself what he and ANN failed to do to Vic: get him to commit suicide.
  • The West Nile song...enough said.
  • The fact that the term "ronversation" not only existed 11 years before it became a thing, but it had this as a definition (courtesy of urban dictionary):
    • Ronversation: when you have an utterly pointless and awkward conversation that draws on for an intolerably long time, usually with someone who does not want to talk to you.
  • Alex Moore manages to get even less twitch views than Marzgurl.
  • Tammi Denbow and Scott Barretto, two people who might've created this lawsuit, no longer work at Funimation.
  • No one knows who Emmett Plant is.
  • No one remembers who Shane Holmberg is.
  • No one cares who Amanda Winn Lee is.
  • A year after they fired Vic over sexual assault allegations...the vice president of Rooster Teeth is arrested and fired for abusing his wife.
  • Rooster Teeth losing most of their main employees.
  • Funimation losing most of their con income.
  • KV losing most of their minds over a funko doll.
  • Ron Toye has a KF account.
  • What do Bettik, Tewson and Lawarchive have in common? (Spoiler: what's the opposite of "being different"?)
  • Giraffes turn out to be badasses.

Don't forget Hanleia confusing Vic with an actual pedo thanks to an account of someone with memory problems thanks to brain damage....who just happened to be Monica's ex boyfriend.

I recall Schemmel and Sabat talking about how Funimation would help Schemmel out on flying from New York to Texas to voice Goku when he was a struggling down-on-his-luck musician. And at that time the company was not the huge success that they would become. I get the sense (and not just from hearing this) that Volmer is not part of their clique.

I truly wanna believe that once upon a time, Funimation and its people were good, down to earth people with good intentions that had passion for what they did. I think that, somewhere along the way, they lost sight of that amongst all the hero worshipping, virtue signalling, trying to be too PC, and conforming to the liberal Hollywood mindset.

Sadly Sabat for sure has been a creepy cunt for at least 20 years. I know women who did dubs and dubbed songs back then who got completely ghosted, never hired, credited for their work or acknowledged or even spoken to again after Sabat learned they had a boyfriend/husband/weren't interested in him

That does sound interesting. Hopefully future discovery will uncover more of that. But according to Huber, Sabat's been stabbing Vic in the back viciously since 2003, as well, so we can sadly confirm that in basically every way, Sabat has always been the same, he's just gotten more power over time.

Toye's Twitter DMs leaked??

I mean besides the fact that you stalk trans people on a website owned by a guy who has dozens of chat logs floating around where he said he wanted to do things to underaged "catboys" you seem to have some really dark and weird issues with women. How do you think that's rubbing off on any younger girls in your family. Believe me this is the mildest problem I can speculate you have in your life but you're fundamentally not fit to be around kids who are still developing self-esteem.

I mean have you called any of the little girls in your family any of this creepy misogynistic shit and have authority figures like teachers said anything about how it's negatively affecting them to their parents since you're not a dad and never will be

@Ron Toye needs to take a fucking chill pill and wasn't the whole "neko shota" thing a bullshit meme that Vordrak or Samuel Collingwood Smith came up with back in 2012 and the spergs at /cow/ and ED just ran with it it?

Ron needs to get with the times, now the meme is that Null's a chubby chaser or something, idk.

Y'know what... I can believe that Tiffany got ghosted in 2014 because she got a boyfriend (but how would Sabat have known about it if they hadn't stayed in contact? 🤔). She got pregnant at 41, which was 2014, just a couple years after moving to New Orleans, but if she said she was 41 and got pregnant, and her birthday's in July, she became a mother after Battle of Gods came out. And they got married in 2016.

It's funny, too, from the interview, Tiffany had nothing but fond memories of Chris. She literally believes they were rather close friends when she was in Texas by having bonded over weird music and movies while the friends they both went out drinking with banged upstairs, and it wasn't long before he referred her to the audition at FUNimation. She worked on the Chuck E. Cheese thing before auditioning for Bulma, so she was there early on. If she's changed her mind about Chris since then, it didn't come out in the interview because that wasn't relevant/Geekdom never asked.

Around that time Scott Barretto, Tammi Denbow, and Evan Stone were still employed by Funimation and SONY, respectively.
Mika could still be employed by Funimation. Or not.
🤷‍♂️

Motherfucker, I actually can't unsee him as a grown up Fred from live action Scooby Doo now.

Ironically enough, Freddie Prinze, Jr. (who plays Fred in the live action Scooby-Doo movies) and Vic share a production together.
In the Mass Effect franchise, Prinze voices Lt. James Vega and there was an animated film called Mass Effect: Paragon Lost (released in 2012).
Aside from Prinze, the cast were Funimation voice actors. This includes Vic Mignogna, too.
