Hey, for those of you who are more legally inclined. Ms Choy keeps implying that he saw or has knowledge of what the Funi investigation produced, but since he doesn't work there that would mean either Monica or someone else showed him it or told him the details (big assumption he's not lying of course). Could Vic take any action against Funi for someone leaking to a non-spouse about an internal investigation involving him?

Yes, the fact that Ron knows and is claiming to parrot a funi hr investigation is itself an instance of defamation.

It can also be taken that Rial is seeking to distance herself from the acts of business defamation by feeding them through her soyfriend.

But why would Mr./Ms. Ron's attorney bother talking with Ty about him if the attorney were not representing him at the time? If he just told Ty "yeah, I talked to him, but I'm not representing him," then I don't think Ty would have referred to him as Ron's attorney.

Ty said he'd introduced himself to the attorney Ron named. That's just a courtesy thing lawyers do. It doesn't really clarify the nature of Ron's relationship with that attorney.

If a lawyer is suggesting that you get a lawyer to protect yourself...you should probably get a lawyer. Ron please get a lawyer. Better yet, drop the evidence. I highly doubt that he told the lawyer during consul any information that would be against him, since he is obviously in the right 100% and thus no legal badness can come against him. Console was probably something along the lines of 'OK be careful and thanks for the money' while laughing once the soytard was out that some fellow lawyer somewhere was about to be given a lot of money once it hits.

I was told there was 3 people you should never lie to if you have to hire them or pay for their service. Those are your doctors, your lawyers, and your accountant. Ron doesn't even have a sense of what can be used against them. I constantly find myself thinking "do you realise what you just said" when I read his tweets. He doesn't just implicate himself, either.

They all claim to have known about it for that long. Where was their concern about fan safety during all that time? And why is their concern limited to Vic? Why are they not looking to purge everyone who is "problematic" from the anime industry?

I can't remember if Ty followed up on it at a later date but I believe he said on Nick's stream that he couldn't get in touch with the Lawyer in question and just dropped him an email introducing himself.

I'm almost convinced this is a BlueOrca sock puppet, I haven't heard any whalesong for a few days but this cretin has been barking non stop. Has anyone been able to link this account to any other place like PULL or youtube? I hadn't seen anything from them until after the great harpooning and the statement of her having a "plan". I wouldn't put it past her to think that using a sock puppet makes her immune to any potential defamation actions or being told to retract everything.

the best part is that if true, that makes them accessories to the crimes they claim and guess what? those don't have a statute of limitations.... meaning they could get picked up and dropped even if the main perpetrator gets away.
