Week of the TOR - No theme, besides we are all connecting through TOR for a week.

Still didn't really work for me. I had my security settings on "Standard" which is the lowest. I even turned off no-script completely. But Kiwifarms still said I had javascript disabled, not sure if that was the case or not. It let me watch videos that users uploaded though. But when I tried to login, after typing user and pw it said login failed then wanted me to try again and fill out captcha. Only problem is the captcha wouldn't load. Luckily I was able to get on now through the .top address. Either way, I don't have anything too important to say, but I hope that if this domain is taken down again, I can figure out how to make TOR work.

That being said, does it work well if you "open tor window" in brave? Maybe that would be easier than TOR browser?

It works reasonably well but I don't like using tor to access a site through a browser I'm also using on clearnet. It makes it too easy to blow my security, unless I'm also using a VPN on the same browser, which isn't really recommended while using Tor.
 
I'd love that if for whatever reason we can't keep the site going, that we move KF to a BBS via SSH.
No idea what setting one up entails, but Master Boot Record did it to promote a new album and it was dope -- really brought me back to the early days of the Internet.

Pleasantly suprised how fast Tor is now compared to the last time I used the onion link. It feels like it's going to be a slow couple weeks on the Farms until the .top link works better.
 
Feels like onion is up when .top isn't working and .top is up when onion isn't working. However, I'm just glad that the site is back to being somewhat operational.
