Upon waking up, with all the adrenaline faded, I found myself chuckling at the memories of the stream. It really was one for the ages. This, and the grilled cheese Sims 3 stream, are going to down in history, gentlemen. They're going to be the quintessential Jace streams. Absolutely legendary.

Weekly Livestreams 4 5 and 6 ...and now 10 are quintessentials in my book.

4 ended with Death trolling Jace's Sims suicide melodramatics, which is still the funniest thing to me
5 ended with 'HOW DO I KNOW YOU'RE NOT MAKAROV'
6 ended with the DANGER ZONE, Jace speeding away out of the garage with his laptop still hooked up

and 10 of course is on that level. This shit couldn't be scripted better.

3-7 and 10 are the quintessential Jace collection. Especially if you add on the hangover blogs and the homeless blogs. Maybe throw in the cooking oil saga and suburban warfare as special features?
 
Impossibility, you made me want to make a list of the endings we've seen so far...

1 never really got started, because of the "power outage" (read: TERROR STRIKE)
2 ended with his mom telling him "STOP STREAMING NOW OR I'M GOING TO... I'M GOING TO... TELL YOUR FATHER YOUNG MAN!"
3 ended with Gamershack burning down and Jace ragequitting
4 ended with Death trolling Jace, and Jace ragequitting
5 ended with 'HOW DO I KNOW YOU'RE NOT MAKAROV'
6 ended with the DANGER ZONE
7 ended with Rob busting down the door
8 ended with Jace going to sleep and getting Q'uran'd
9 ended with Jace calmly thanking everyone for watching and happily logging off
10 ended with PRESS WAAAAAHHHHNNNNNN

Before the "weekly" segments we had a few other streams with varied outcomes. In chronological order:
  • The ARMA II Live Stream was his live debut, it ended with him getting banned from Twitch.tv for smoking weed after being convinced the pizza I gave him had ricin in it.
  • The first Dark Souls livestream ended with him doing this insane "heterosexual pledge" using a holy bible, and talking about how he uses bible pages to roll blunts. No ragequit though, he was pretty calm and happy overall
  • The second Dark Souls livestream was probably my favorite. It ended with him puking and passing out while rapping to Eminem. He writhed around on the floor for a bit while Gamerfood convinced Tyce to set his cell phone on fire. Jace came back and turned off the stream before passing out again. Next morning his mom found him a puddle of his own puke and made him go to the hospital
  • The Trial of ParkourDude91 ended with an insane series of events where he and Tyce ran innawoods fighting imaginary terrorists and managed to get lost in a 50 sq meter patch of woods, while wearing nightvision goggles
  • The COD Ghosts livestream ended with INTERNAL AFFAIRS ISSUES when CIADude420 informed him of the traitorous actions of Tyce Andrews.
  • The Deagle Nation State of the Union Address ended with Jace declaring war on Tyce for his traitorous actions, issuing an ultimatum that if he does not turn himself in within three days, "there will be consequences for that action". Tyce did turn himself in, but it took three fucking months, not three days, and it cost Jace all of his IRL friends and a considerable amount of his insanity. The next day after this livestream Jace hopped in the car and began hunting Tyce down.
  • The first TESO livestream ended with him basically being like "well this was cool thanks for watching everyone, peace" after grinding in the game for 5 hours of nonstop boredom.
  • The second TESO Livestream ended with him accidentally damaging his webcam with a fucking katana when he was swinging around his Chinese swords during a "live loadout" segment, forcing him to stop the stream. This was right after the debut of Chandler and Friends
  • The 4chan Livestream was right before his weekly streams, and it ended with him proclaiming "YOU ARE THE DARKNESS THAT I WILL SWALLOW WITH MY KNIFE!", ragequitting, and screaming at /k/ while punching his keyboard
  • The Life Update ended with him "pranking" Colby with an airsoft gun in the SUBURBAN WARFARE series
 
The thing I don't understand about the livestream was that even when he was freaking out Jace was apparently still coherent enough to operate his computer and switch from the Sims 3 to the Deagle Nation screen. Also the way he was in the middle of crying/breaking but stopped and said "Get out of the ring, faggot"; it was like a complete 180 of emotions.

Not saying it's fake, but it just seemed odd to me. At this point I doubt he's some elaborate troll so maybe the things I pointed are just more proof as to just how emotionally deranged he really is.

Yeah it felt even more off when he was shaking and crying screaming 'PRESSS ONEEEEEEEEEEE' then 'ok guys hold on I gotta find some good music' in a calm voice then suddenly falling off the deep end again. I think it's just another example of the blurred lines between Stryker as a character and a schizophrenic alter ego.
 
Also, upon waking up and the adrenaline dying off, I realized I overreacted. Disturbing as it was to me (this was my first stream, BTW), this is- to all intell I've been able to gather- just SOP for Jace.

Getting caught up in the moment and overreacting is SOP for the forum during Jace streams, as well.

To be honest, this was probably the darkest moment in the saga so far, so I don't blame you at all. It must have been rough to catch this as a first glimpse. We've seen plenty of inklings of this kind of stuff before but the tragicomic has never been in full swing as much as it was yesterday night.

And yeah, like Hellblazer said, we get really invested in his streams. It's part of the fun, and kind of hard not to get sucked in after you watch for a while. Honestly, I have to hand it to him for being able to get a crowd that worked up over something as trite as The Sims. If nothing else, he knows how to hold people's attention and he's rarely boring.

Honestly though, most of his streams aren't like that. There's a lot of variety to Jace. Sometimes he'll be dead-serious "intellectual", sometimes he'll be doing GAMER HUMOR, sometimes he'll be angry as fuck and yelling at everyone, sometimes he'll be sad... there's an awful lot of different "moods" he gets into and you never really know what you're going to get with his content, that's what keeps them interesting.

tl;dr: welcome to the Jace Train, the ride never ends

There's too many highlights to count, but the mega-chimpout starts at 1:00:00, the final descent into the abyss of tears at around 4:19:00. But really, the entire stream is worth watching. Can't wait for the highlight reel...
 
Again, a topic discussed to death, but after watching the entire 4-fucking-hour video, I have to ask...

Is he just trolling us?

The thing I notice is that his emotional outbursts can be turned on and off like a switch. He will go from totally lucid and calm, to screaming, tear-wracked blubbering, right back to neutral in no time. Either he 1) has the emotional depth of a gnat, 2) has a SEVERE psychological issue (unlikely, or he'd have been instituted by now) or 3) he's fucking with us.

Based on his online history I don't think he's a COMPLETE troll, but the last few months make me think he's hyping up for the crowd. He also takes some very crucial safety steps that true lolcows like Chris never think of: we never (really) see his un-sunglassed face online, nor Gail's or Robert's face. I highly doubt that the same man who runs around screaming "PRESS ONEEEEEEEEEE!!!" would have the foresight needed to keep the identities of the people he really dislikes (or his own) as secret as he does.

I dunno. Watching "Press one if *sob* you think i should *sob sob*... hey get the fuck out of the ring faggot" makes me wonder how genuine his crybaby antics are.

It seems to be a combination of 1 and 2. No one is currently sure about the severity of his mental illness, but he's someone that has an addictive personality, abuses drugs and alcohol, has some pretty severe emotional problems, and is most likely under medicated or constantly flip-flopping on his medication.

Now, I'm not 100% discounting 3 because Jace has shown himself to be pretty tricky and has successfully fucked back with people before, but I think his Emotional Outbursts are more tied to him having a ton of complex emotions / feelings towards his parents, his life, his school, and his childhood that are complete exacerbated by tequila and weed and a mom he's terrified of and mad at.
