You can get status pretty randomly. I paid for mine and bought status for somebody else. It could be the ween had a few good posts, somebody bought a true and honest sticker during the red bubble sale and gifted their status to the ween.
The sale happened after the privatization but it's something to think about.

So what if a ween is leaking content to phil.
Phil knows what he wrote on facebook, phil can guess our reaction, phil knows when hes lying.
Does phil seeing a couple of your posts change anything ?
If someone starts helping phil kill sock puppets then we have an issue but its not like hes interfering with super secret trolling plans.
The fact is we want content, if the attention stops then content stops and we have one less cow to read about.
Most of christory is based on weening, people keep paying him for bullshit videos and we keep viewing and storing them.
Does it matter were content comes from so long as we enjoy it.
Maybe just stop backseat modding, deciding who should get access and witch hunting and laugh at the tards instead.
The only thing hiding the sub forum achieved was making phil used a 3rd party for access, made him leave tweaker alone and forced tweaker to move on, so thats success by my standards.

Man you guys are spoiled. This has been the best Phil content in years and all yall can do is bitch. Phil getting bits here and there from this forum is a good thing! It makes him crazier, knowing what topics were talking about but not details. This is the only time since I've been a member where Phil has been amusing please don't ruin that for me.

I'm just gonna say that what we had set up as guidelines for approving someone to post in this sub were just that. Guidelines. At the end of the day, we set up some kind of idea of who to let in or not and made a consensus that obvious spam accounts and super newbies weren't going to be granted access. Like anything, it wasn't going to be 100% perfect and the process was still in part holistic.

There will always be someone trying to ween no matter what you do or how much you closely try to manage something. Users like @Army Burger I felt that I got a good feel for how they are as a poster and looked at how much they contributed, and sometimes there were those kind of decisions made.

At the end of the day, what matters is that the quality of the sub has been going way up lately. I've had someone PM me telling me she's been enjoying the Phil content more than ever and likes how people are posting more now than how it was a few months back. One of the things which made this sub one of the best of the bunch when it started last year was the laidback atmosphere and how much fun everyone was having. People understood that ADF himself could be so unlikable at times you could be a bit looser with the jokes and comments than you could in Disco.
 
I must say i prefer it like this than when it was open and consisted of 17 pages of people saying the same sentence in different ways farming for positive ratings

Back in the days of asspatting tweaker, endless sperging about weapons and the same potatoes joke and "durrrr phil looks like divine" picture.

Its never going to be perfect but the MOD team polished a turd.
So kudos to that instead of second guessing them.

I personally don't give a fuck if Taters sees the posts or not. Even with screencaps, there's a lot of stuff that he isn't getting.

And regardless of whatever rush he feels from the attention, Real Life will always be there to punish him hard for being such a butt-ugly obnoxious asshole. Enjoy it while you can, Taters. When you're in your 40's and up, no one's going to tolerate your punk-ass antics. No one likes a surly old faggot.

Past experience says that you're probably right, but we do know Phil constantly stealthmodes here to appease his own ego. Do we know he's not doing it to himself?
 
I don't really care, honestly. I think people fixate far too much on controlling the information a deranged, homeless moron sees. Making the subforum private was a good idea, but going on an autistic witch-hunt for somebody with way too much time on their hands is just giving more attention to a situation that barely deserves notice.
