Hey guys,

I got a Lenovo at work(business grade supposedly).

I noticed immediately that in solid colors the pixel lines are alternating between "color" and "brighter color " (more white).
The problem with shit like this is, older people don't even see this shit, like with high pitched sounds and you almost can't photograph it either.

Support went immediately into gaslighting mode: "Uhhh I can't see anything, that's normal"
Yeah, so normal that a colleague with the same model doesn't have that problem.
Classic Lenovo.

I tried replugging the display connector, but already figured that since it's digital anyway, this effect wouldn't go away (and it didn't).
Is this shit common, does anyone know how it is caused? I think the connection from the display intermediary boards to the panel itself must be fucked.

Seriously, I had hoped Lenovo could unfuck themselves these last 10 years but my hopes have dwindled.
HP is borderline and Dell might be ok. Leaves only Apple and their shitty soldered SSDs.

Technology really is the scourge of humanity...

You expected Lenovo, a fully Chinese-owned company, to unfuck themselves and produce quality products?

Sorry man, your panel is fucked. All you can do is hope that bitching hard enough at the support robot will get you an RMA ticket.

Supposedly the things have on-site support. You would think they would send a tech who is in the area out on low-prio to just take a look, but nah.
The Thinkpads from Lenovo weren't that bad at first and went downhill fast.

I own several chinese made tech gadgets and the companies are pretty good if you choose them well.
Lenovo won't see my personal money though.

Accidentally hit the display with your coffee cup and then tech-support will have to give you a replacement.
