I don't want to post it but a few months ago I found torture videos from 2016 that were still posted to YouTube. I came across it because it was originally posted to /x/ but the post was archived.

Why I clicked on one of these, I really can't tell you. But I can tell you that I learned my lesson.

The video I saw opens with a man standing with his arms and legs tied, he's all spread out (arms tied to ceiling, legs died to floor); his arms are up. Another man is standing next to him with a piece of metal in a fire or being heated somehow (it's hard to remember details). Immediately, within like two or three seconds of the video starting, the guy takes the metal and presses it to the man's upper arm to burn him. He presses it down hard and holds it there for maybe 10 seconds, before heating the piece of metal again and doing it again. He's super angry when he does it, and what creeped me out right away was his angry demeanor; his facial expression and fractious movements. That's how I could tell right away that this wasn't staged or a joke.

The man doing this was reading from a piece of paper. It was impossible to understand him. Sometimes you can see over his shoulder and the paper he was reading from said, "Bicoz you supported Donald Trump. Bicoz you supported Hillary Clinton." It became clear that was he was saying was an extremely accented version of those phrases. The accent was Spanish. I remember that there was some mentions of Christianity, indicating the torturer was a Christian.

I can't remember because I blocked a lot of this out, but the channel had about 60 similar torture videos released over a short period of time (maybe over one day or two days), all of them showed the same man torturing the same victim.

It was super disturbing and it still comes to me randomly sometimes.

This scares me still, because of a few reasons:

1. The randomness of it. Some people on /x/ speculated that it could have been politically motivated, a cartel hit, or an ISIS video, but I see through all of that. I could see how random this actually was. This gave me vibes that the victim was pulled randomly off the side of a road, or something. Totally random, could easily happen to you or me.
2. The torturer seemingly got away with it. They were so undetected that even YouTube couldn't flag their videos. They're probably free to do this again.
3. The look on the victim's face, the look on the torturer's face. The victim looks totally broken, like he had learned helplessness. I'll never forget the look on his face as he stared into the camera.
4. The look on the torturers face while he did this. I've never seen an expression containing so much evil.

I know that case seems alarming, but a surprising amount of that sort of content is consensual. I recall stumbling on one that was just a woman tied up in a chair and beaten, wriggling all the while, for the whole video. Start to finish. Other videos had her trade places with the woman beating her, and sometimes they'd get tied up or taped to the object voluntarily while on camera. Your case could be an anti-Trump torture and murder in broad daylight, or it could be a gay white dude's depraved fetish.
(Clarity for the Feds: this was years ago now. The channel probably doesn't even exist anymore, even if I kept track of it, which I didn't, for obvious reasons.)

I don't envy whoever has to review all this shit. No wonder they're so fucked up.

I know what you mean and I agree with you 100%. That's a great point. Content like that is super common on the Internet.

However, in this case, I really feel like it was legit.
