Wendigoon Thread

Wow you guys are dramatic.

People interview members of government organizations for documentaries and shit all the time but now if he does it he instantly becomes a glowie? GTFO.

However, the interview sucked. I’ll admit that. I would have preferred if the interview was a trap and Wendi had a button that made the fed go through a hole in the floor straight to Hell.

Also shocking amount of Ted-hate in this thread too. Sure, i’ll let you not liking the bombing shit slide but you cant deny the man was right about pretty much everything.

Ted being a troon is a myth that came about when he wrote during a mental breakdown that he considered it, but then realized how gay it would be and stopped. I haven’t heard any proof that he “tortured animals” either.

Welp, here you go:
At 2 hours and 31 minutes, Wendi reveals his cousin is a fed who worked on the Ted Kaczynski case.
I'm guessing this is why Wendi has such a hard-on for Uncle Ted--this was probably a big deal for him growing up. I'm a TedHead but I don't think he needs an in-depth video made on him. There's not much to hypothesize or explain, he laid his beliefs and actions out quite bare, he was caught, he's not some mythical figure like the Zodiac Killer... kinda disappointed that Wendi is spending so much time on Ted but oh well.

If more people sought vengeance for themselves, maybe their would be less reasons for people to seek vengeance.

I sorta agree, but Ted wasn't a martyr solely acting in the preservation of freedom. He was a very very angry individual that would kill whoever he wanted, just to get a little bit of satisfaction with his lot in life. He was still 100% correct though about almost everything, but he potentially demonized any conversation on the topic. He could've gone after anyone, but he went after literal who's and a high ranking ad exec. No different than walking into a mall with an M16 and firing down-range at anything that moves.

He's correct about societies ill's, you could even argue that his method of bringing to attention societies ills, what with the bombings, was correct too. But then why send bombs to random ass college professors and computer repair shop owners? Why not go after the people who were at the source of the problem, why allow random ass people to fall into your crosshairs? He tried going after the American Airlines guy, but failed. After that it was all low profile targets.

I understand, freedom needs to be bled for, but this ain't it, chief. Do what he did, but go after the right people, otherwise it's all a big gay larp.

In one of the recent letters from prison, where he is serving a life sentence for bombings that killed three people and wounded 22, Kaczynski took credit for “monkeywrenching” and for shooting a dog to death, writing, “Shoot, shovel, and shut up.”

The neighbor, Chris Waits, said Kaczynski killed nine of his dogs over a decade, largely by poisoning with strychnine oats. Waits said he had heard Kaczynski cursing the dogs, whose barking may have betrayed his whereabouts in the woods.

Starting in the summer of 1975 and ending with Kaczynski's arrest in April 1996, the reported vandalism campaign caused hundreds of thousands of dollars in property damage but apparently no human injuries.
From thetedarchive

Another of their dogs had to be put down because someone "had repeatedly stabbed and gouged the entire area under his tail, shredding his colon, hips and rectal area" with a spear or sharp knife, Waits writes. A different dog was shot up the rectum with a small-caliber bullet, dying an agonizingly slow death.

The Waitses sometimes found their dogs smeared with human excrement. In addition, Chris Waits had heard Kaczynski curse at the dogs at times when the hermit thought Waits couldn't hear the curses.

His response...
...Kaczynski
disputes Waits' contention that he smeared human excrement on Waits' dogs. Kaczynski noted that dogs can run much faster than humans and he wouldn't have been able to catch them. He maintains he wouldn't have been able to coax them near him because Waits said the dogs hated him. The only way Kaczynski would have rubbed excrement on them, he wrote, would be to capture the dogs using steel traps, which would have angered the dogs and caused them to bite him.
"In such circumstances, it would be much easier and safer to simply kill the dog and get rid of a pest," Kaczynksi wrote, acknowledging that he killed a dog that sneaked into his garden at night, but it wasn't one of Waits' dogs.

I want to reiterate I agree with his position on society, but the idolatry on his behalf is a little gay. I say that with a small shred of irony, considering my name.

Well it seems like that Waits guy really wants to indicate Ted as a dog-killer. For what it’s worth i’ll say if he did do it it’s wrong and I condemn it obviously, but if it was just one dog… nah it’s still wrong but at least he wouldn’t be like a serial dog killer.

The Feds were lucky that Ted was a loon who went after anyone who pissed him off an a particular day. Ted had the intelligence, the insight, and the will to carry out an effective campaign against the Powers that Be. If he had carried out a war against scumbag politicians or had gone all Marvin Heemeyer against a group of corrupt corporations, he'd be celebrated as a folk hero, not regarded as a cautionary tale who blew most of his potential.

The feds were lucky Ted's brother was a state controlled cuck.

Kind of like Waco or Ruby Ridge, sure the guys did bad/illegal things, but the outright callous and evil conduct of the government played an outsized part in pushing them to it.
The Unibomber isn't comparable to either of those events. The feds went looking to screw with those people, Ted K started on his own. People like him are who TPTB want all of us to think about when we imagine those who attempt to isolate themselves from modern society. Dangerous and unstable individuals who must be brought in line by the child/dog killing brigades.

On a side note, I'm STILL reading Blood Meridian. The text is dense as fuck despite being enjoyable and since the only time I get to read is right before bed I end up nodding off.
Do the audio book. The one on Audible is nice. I had dropped it and spent a few days listening then following up with the Wendi recap for a section.

And regarding the Bible Podcast with the Aidens, I found it REALLY funny that Wendi will give a pass to gay shit, but the Aidens will say basically "it says right there in the book it's wrong, but I won't tell you how to live your life" despite nominally being far more liberal than Baptist Sunday school teacher Wendi.
I still like him, but he's a fag enabler.

Ted was interesting for a lot of reasons. Aside from the usual intrest in serial killers and domestic terrorists, he was someone who was just fascinating. He was legitimately crazy smart, and his manifesto is actually very well done in how he explained his whole deal. He made solid points on how increased technology necessitates larger systems to create, use, and regulate said technology; Surrogate Activities and the Power Process ideas were well argued and leads into his eco-terrorism ideas. A well argued and intelligent bomber is something people can't help but take an intrest in.
I think why he has such a weird fanbase is because, frankly, a lot of young dissatisfied men can relate to "burn it all down". Not normal young men, but there's less and less of those every day it seems.
