Well, feel free to disagree with me, but it always seems like when an interesting Youtuber starts getting featured by Youtube like this, it's the start of the downward slope.

Came here to say; Gooner officially on countdown. Place bets on what officially causes the turnaround on general opinion.

My bet? Ditches the Christian angle and falls down a whole load of nonsense like Repzion.

Edit : To expand, his recent shenanigans are really signaling this. It started with the Aidens, then his constant association with PKA, now TurkeyTom and even Critikal. He’s really the male equivalent of a true crime YouTuber. Publishing so much of his personal life and going almost terminally online. His wife is also starting to really push her personality in his main vids, watch the new Mandela vid and notice the “fantastic” editing she’s doing. Furthermore, his appraisal of terrible acting as good is two handed; it’s part of his lowdown charm, but Mandela acting is bad acting. Don’t expect any good to come from his STALKER movie.

Too many flags to disregard.

I think his content is just going to get generally more and more boring as that's what the "normies" are going to watch more and more of.

I could see Youtube trying to set him up as a Mr. Beast type for shitty spooky and true crime content over other people like Nexpo and Night Mind.

So far, all this supplemental material he's done on the side hasn't been put on his own channel, so it's a little easier to disregard. Still is something that should be kept an eye on, though maybe him being put in the spotlight may what could cause his downfall if he's not careful. Very few YouTubers make it out of such an onslaught of popularity with their integrity intact.

I thought his Faith video was good, for example. The interview was a dud and the megacut isn’t abnormal, so so far I’m not really worried about the direction of his channel yet.

I get that in literally every establishment I go to. Including gas stations. The only people who hype up the whole "UwU the waitress called me hon/sweetie/sweetheart/darlin" typically aren't from the part of the country that has that as part of its general diction. It's not special or meaningful. It's just how we talk in those areas

I think it has more to do with them being demons than anything else, like some Christians find only demon related horror stuff frightening because they genuinely believe demons exist and could invite them into their life by watching media with demons in it.

This has never made sense to me. If you're a devout follower of the word/gospel, the demons have zero power. They're less than nothing. The only reason you'd have to fear them is if you have some shred of doubt, giving them some sort of foothold to enable them to corrupt you. At least as far as I'm concerned.

I read about the various demons/denizens of hell and think "who cares? I walk with Christ so these entities have no power over me. If anything I pitty them". Yet I've personally known other believers who take it to such extremes that shit as silly as Harry Potter is literal blasphemy. Hell, I've known some who were so outlandish things like Rugrats were considered demonic because "babies can't talk. That's the devil at work".

At a certain point, again personally, it just becomes general superstition instead of true faith. Like thinking a broken mirror is 7 years bad luck or something.

He didn't stream as much as he does now, no. So you aren't imaging things. It's definitely picked up over the last few moths/year.

The thing with demons is that while they might not exactly influence you, a true believer of Christ, there's a bunch of other motherfuckers out there for the demons to influence.
Like, I don't smoke crack but there's definitely crackheads out there causing mischief.
