Wendigoon Thread

  • 🐕 I am attempting to get the site runnning as fast as possible. If you are experiencing slow page load times, please report it.
If anything he'd get heat from accidentally calling his fans retarted on stream. That, or scorned fans gather together to obsessively follow his every video and action and nitpick his failings as a content creator
If he got any balls, he'll just tell them to either piss off like Oney or ignore them like Sunnyv2.

Bowing down is the worst he can do and I hope he doesn't do that. He may be nice but he's hopefully not a doormat.
He didn't stream as much as he does now, no. So you aren't imaging things. It's definitely picked up over the last few moths/year.
As other Kiwis have noted, so long as it doesn't bleed over into his main channel, it should be alright. Besides, he's one of those people with a slow upload schedule like Jontron and Internet Historian.

It is bit of a sad evolution however. A lot of people I watch in my spare time barely upload on their main channels but then frequently upload on a second stream channel.

But alas, maybe I'm just a nostalgia fag for the days before Twitch.

Wendigoon posted on twitter that the Ted video drops tomorrow

Three and a half hours got dang

I guess today we'll see what Wendigoon can say about trannies, or what he thinks about them.
He basically says, "The experts say he wasnt transgender" and then describes him having AGP thoughts. I WONDER HOW COMMON AGP THOUGHTS ARE IN TRANNIES WENDI HMMMMMMMM. And otherwise glossed over it but says that's when he started thinking of murder and killing.

"Remember that mention of how this video is absolutely not going to get monetized because...youtube already hates me."

...

Wasn't he just featured in a Youtube produced video about Halloween?

I'm watching it, I hope this wait till the final seconds he's promising pays off. I feel like this video is going to be the make or break for me when it comes to Wendigoon.

I cannot possibly say it enough. He's a fucking faggot for saying this kind of shit over and over again. No one other than his zoomer "omg daddy" fanbase buys that bullshit. The nigger has sponsors, ads, has said on a podcast he's got a personal rep at youtube, and was featured by youtube outright. He makes enough money off all this shit that he felt confident in closing his patreon that, by my conservative estimate back when I was a paypig, was getting him at least a smooth 20k a month. Him saying this malarkey makes me MATI.

It's not like he's Donut Faggot and showing video, albeit censored, of people dying. He's covering largely well known topics, conspiracy shit, and doing random book reviews and ARG nonsense. And even if you wanted to try and claim its because of youtube weird ass no-no word list, the dude goes above and beyond to self censor to get around it anyway.

It's a dead ass meme that no one other than the most retarded of his followers could possibly believe, and I refuse to think he himself believes it for even a second at this point.

It is to be expected. I can't imagine what sort of backlash he would get if he said anything otherwise.

Still, watching the bit about his life it's kind of amazing just how much Ted's story mirrors those of many troons today. A socially isolated, meek young man with unsatisfied desires, and an intense frustation with life that spiralled out of control and led him down a very dark path.

Surprised more aren't adopting him, it's the textbook transgender story, if only he had actually gone through with it. I do wonder how differently his life would have been if he had. Would he be worse, and if so, how?

I gotta stop listening for the night when he's in the middle of discussing the manifesto, and he's totally misunderstanding one of Ted's points. Ted says we can do whatever we like when it comes to things that the system has decided is unimportant (what religion you are, who you have sex with ect), while important things are increasingly regulated. Wendi goes off on a tangent that he actually cares a lot about his wife and religion and people care abou tthese things a lot, which is just totally missing Ted's point that it's the system at large that deems them unimportant, not the individual. He even mentions that but it doesn't matter. We can clearly see in the years since the manifesto was published with fag marriage, the collapse of sexual moors, the slow motion collapse of christianity that the system doesn't have an interest in these things, or has an interest in atomizing and fostering extreme individualism when it comes to them. Whats becoming more regulated? Cars for one, the main mode of transportation for like 90% of americans. Compared to 1995 we've got far more restrictions on what you can drive and how they're built, and they're trying to implement even more restrictions all the time. Hell, they want to ban gas cars entirely in some places. Freedom of speech is being curtailed in places where you can actually reach people, because stepping outside your door and yelling is unimportant, what's important are places like xitter and being able to have a presence on the Internet at large *cough cough* and we cant forget the triple cluster fuck of immigration, housing, and the finances of the nation that the average man has 0 say in.

This is wendi's first big disagreement with Ted and I feel it's pretty ignorant.

The Kiwifarms watching a video on The Unabomber is like an autistic Game Of Thrones reader watching the show; no matter what happens we're gonna sperg.
I'm halfway through, so far nothing super special but I do like the inclusion of some lesser known details like Grandpa Rabbit and such. Certainly better than most true crime videos where they just read a Wikipedia article and maybe a quote from a book. But overall, not terribly impressed.

Does it get better in the second half? Cause so far it feels like a fucking guy reading a history followed by a guy reading the manifesto and just being like "who is he to have opinions?"

Edit: Skipped to the end cause I know the manifesto and I can already tell what Wendigoons thoughts are. I can't believe the "stay until the last few seconds" bit was for an advertisement for a poster he's selling. I also can't believe I kept spotting editing mistakes even after skipping to the end. He really did rush it.

To put it delicately, Wendigoon is not really the best at philosophical debate. His takes are very basic and are things most people can understand intuitively, where someone who is more comfortable in the realm of philosophy would have more things to pick apart and explain why it's interesting. Ted was smart but crazy, and he did give us his reasoning. His reasoning for his brand of anarcho-primitivism has many holes in it caused by his extremely biased and stubborn mindset. Ted did have a lot of good points, that's why the manifesto is legit worth a read, but Wendigoon just isn't really suited for the type of review I would personally enjoy a lot more.
Overall, mid video but not terrible.

I can't believe the laidback Sunday school teacher disagrees with the Unabomber.

And before anyone says "It's not about him disagreeing with Ted. It's about him not understanding his philosophy/manifesto/ect", did you honestly expect the Christian guy who wears Hawaiin shirts, and makes vids on Youtube shilling shitty ARGs to not do that?

So far I like the video, never really got caught up in certain parts of unabomber lore before so its interesting to see it explained in a non-autistic way.

The video is just overly long and repetitive, and the lack of editing with the amount of times he left himself flubbing and re attempting lines. I get that it was "rushed" or whatever, but it is baffling when he has been hyping this video up for years now, and has claimed to have been working on it for a solid 3-4 months. This video didn't need to be 3 and a half hours long to get his point across. He says near the end he doesn't use scripts, and it makes me wonder WTF took so long to make this then and that for longform content like this he really needs to start scripting to trim a lot of the fat off.

I also find it disingenuous for him to basically spend 3 hours talking about how awful the Unabomber was, and then at the end be like "but hey, I'm not trying to dissuade or change your opinion about him." and how he basically lays his soul out about how much he changed his opinion about the guy after doing research, but at the same time seems to be like "but memes are fun so it's okay to use them I guess."

If he feels this strongly about the Unabombers actions and motives, he absolutely needs to take a hard stance on that. It reeks of being worried about upsetting people and losing precious subscribers or something which is kind of pathetic. It kind of completely invalidates the video at the end by making light of everything he just said.

It seems to me after finishing the video that wendi felt a large amount of guilt for even agreeing with points that Ted makes. He talks about how many revisions he did as he researched and what we got is a guy who is almost manic that people have attached kazynski to larger, anti-inhuman (for lack of a better term) sentiment that's been slowly growing. He took the deep dive and felt that he  had to disprove teds manifesto, when all he did was do what he accused ted of doing, asserting that his opinions were true while Ted's were just that, opinion.

I think he could have done a far better job with the second half if he didn't have that motivated thinking, but the first half imo was great. What you expect from wendi.
