What a shit trailer. Under the assumption that the Loner guy is the main character (0:26), they edited it quite poorly. He is in the trailer for 3 scenes. The 4chan post from the supposed extra seems to be dead on with the tacticool focus, as most of the trailer is focused on the Mercenaries. If I had no previous knowledge of STALKER, I would not know what is being shown.

My understanding is that Wendigoon was working with Evan on a SCP film that they tried to crowdfund, but it didn't meet its goal so it was canned. At some point Evan decided to make a "Stalker" movie and Wendi, since he had been working with him on the failed SCP movie, got brought on board.

The "Scripted Milsim Event" statement might be closer to the truth than we realize if some of the comments made by extras are to be believed. (I posted some of said comments a few pages back, worth a read to see what people who worked on the movie thought about how it was handled.)

These are beings people really believed walked the earth due to misunderstanding or hoaxes even back then, and there are still people who believe they might exist. If I remember from the few Weird Bible episodes I watched Wendi is fairly literalist with the old testament so he probably does believe dragons and similar biblical beasts once walked the Earth and still might. Saint George and Emperor Constantine V slew dragons according to traditions. Whether or not they're real it's the possibility of their existence through stories told as a fact that makes them cryptids.

With modern cryptids I think it should have at least few people who legitimately look for the animal in the wild and try to explain its existence in some psuedo-science way.

Russell did not puke once, not was it a little. He was puking several times. He was on autopilot and the act of being sick and not flying the plane into the densely packed neighborhood he was over, was impressive.

The way Isaiah described the area is confusing. I have no idea why he made it sound like he was south to Oregon. It is ok to show a map.

Between Russell and ATC there was an issue with fuel talked about which was never even mentioned. It would not have had a lot of fuel, and the that area looks like it has a lot of islands he could safely crash. Even Russell talked about smoking his tires. There was also talk of other strips, but the military strip was the longest and away from homes, had a fire brigade etc.

The family did make a handful of statements and FBI bad but he could have gone through the findings at the very least.

This was just "I read a rolling stone summery to you" meme video, with no work.

I JUST watched the video today and it was single handedly the laziest video he’s done. Coffeehouse crime did an extremely better video than what Wendigoon put out.
Edit: I'm just gonna flat out plug Coffeehouse's video, cause it's just way better, and more to the point of what could've lead Russel to the events of the hijacking.

If you only saw Isaish's video it would lead you to think he’s just an Alcoholic who went to do something extremely suicidal while in withdrawal oh by the way he liked Meh-mehs. The reality is that the dude was homesick, working a shit job, for shit pay, in permanently shit weather. Imagine spending years in college for a degree that’s worth fuck all and finding out the job you picked up to pay bills exploits the rules of the airport to give the state’s legal minimum of pay ($12/hr) instead of the $15/hr you were told about.

That was what Russell was dealing with, on top of whatever other personal things he had going on, when he decided to hijack the bombardier. I’ll admit what Russel pulled off was impressive, but by the end of the day, it is a tragedy. Isaiah, your video SUCKED.

I SWEAR TO GOD FINAL EDIT: The STALKER Teaser also sucks, and you should be embarrassed at how fucking hard you've really slipped, Gooner. You should've done an SCP 5k tribute.

Quit adding voice to my disappointment with the internet.

The last several videos from Wendi have been meh at best. Like the spark of enthusiasm is out. Haven't even bothered watching the cryptid tier list videos.

Truly. It's a shame. The last video I fully enjoyed was the FAITH video but that's because I really like the game and I think he did a good job liquefying it for people not wanting to play the game.

Haven't bothered with anything since except the Sky King video. And it was so-so.

He's turning into IHE, who flatout abandoned his main channel for constant podcasts. Think the guy uploaded one or two videos last year and one was basically just trend-chasing.

I actually got quite a kick out of him and the meat dude in the CreepCast episode. But I'll agree that I miss him breaking down stuff like FAITH. Thankfully Flaw Peacock kind of scratches that itch.

We’ll just see how it goes. I understand wanting to give bigger and better things to the audience but he really should get back to basics.
Fans always want something new that’s exactly the same.

Gimme rainbows but we also have seen the opposite, Tamers12345 went from being in the Lolcow board to Multimedia because his thread was just a fan thread and he wasn't a lolcow.
Wendigoon isn't a lolcow and he likely won't become one unless he grifts money. He is unremarkable as a person and just cuz his content is now isn't really connected with him as a person. The honeymoon phase with his channel is over because he is massive, he's now forced down our throats because he networks with everybody and outside of being a baptist southern gunbro he's still a fucking zoomer. Be mad at him because he keeps the 'glowies are taking me down' while being boring, not because of the yet to happen shift into explicit faggotry you see with other horrortubers.

There's also AVGN who flipflops between forums like five times. But AVGN is THE content creator, and his drama is entirely about the group he joined to.
Wendigoon is much less big, and the only ways he will be promoted are:
1. Collaborate with drama whores that don't have a thread. Not very likely.
2. Be caught engaging in weird sex things with his wife/fans. Pretty much par the course for people seen as conservatives.
3. Start talking about politics. If he didn't until now, he probably won't.

unfortunately this one I could see, people get weird when each side starts throwing around the "vote this guy or its the end. are you voting him he's (insert prerogative)". A lot of people that I liked who weren't into politics usually end up showing it at some point.
