That is a very good way to put it, and is the reason why I personally liked Wendigoon in the first place. His videos have an easy-going air surrounding them, they aren't highly edited and flashy, and they lack a cold formality that a lot of other video essayists and horror content creators so needlessly cling to, to make themselves seem important than they really are. On top of that, Wendigoon himself is a charismatic guy. Maybe he's done some shit recently that I find retarded, but even then he still comes off as a likeable person who relays information in a simple, but entertaining way. I would take passion over production when it comes to YouTube videos any day.
Their reaction on how terribly written this is has me excited for them to continue and find out it doesn't get better. Though, that does bring up another point of genuine worry, they sort of front loaded the good stuff when it should have been dispersed over time. I wonder where they'll have to pivot and to what.
I love Wendigoon's christian commentary. Nobody seemed to talk about his Weird Bible Podcast for Easter but it was fantastic and reminded me why I ended my edgy Pagan phase in the first place.

You mean Bad Creepypasta by MichaelLeroi? It’s still one of my favorite Youtube series, there are so many great quotes and jokes in its decade-long run (no joke). It’s in a weird hiatus-cancelled status right now sadly. The creators want to move on, I guess. When I was watching this it reminded me of this one creepypasta commentary series where it was 3 british guys just shitting on stories with no restraint. I missed creepypastas which were unintentionally hilarious.
I really enjoyed a lot of their stuff, but I listened to something more recent and anytime literally anything bad happened to a female character they'd start screaming "MISOGYNY MISOGYNY" and it got old real fast. I think "Fish Stick on a Stick" was a similar, related channel? Maybe I'm remembering wrong, it's been a while. You mean Bad Creepypasta by MichaelLeroi? If I remember they were liberal but not afraid of very politically incorrect humor. They would only cry misogyny when the story was using a woman dying for shock horror kind of like children or pets being killed, but outside of that I don't remember them actually getting "triggered" like some dumb feminist. They made way worse jokes, some probably towards women, anyways.I really enjoyed a lot of their stuff, but I listened to something more recent and anytime literally anything bad happened to a female character they'd start screaming "MISOGYNY MISOGYNY" and it got old real fast. Agreed. The podcast is usually a miss for me. Charlie barely bothers with enough energy to interject a sentence or two, and Jackson strikes me as dumber than a box of rocks (taking multiple episodes to even pronounce Isaiah's name correctly, messing up dates/names/locations frequently). I had hope but aside from this episode and the Heaven's Gate one (that did have some lesser-known information and was interesting) and this recent P-diddy overview, most of them have fallen flat. Not sure if anyone is still watching Red Thread but the P. Diddy one has been the first non-cryptid one they've covered that I particularly enjoyed. The community post apologizing for the delay gave me a chuckle, I think they had something else planned and then this happened so they jumped on it while it was hot

It does help that I was curious about what was going on with this particular situation and it was way crazier than I imagined. It's kind of weird in the sense that you'll hear Isaiah saying things you probably wouldn't expect from him, like talking about cuckoldry and jacking off. I think part of it was just him imagining his wife being treated like Diddy treated women and being righteously infuriated by it.
IIRC Brandon is a few years older than Isaiah and usually less insufferable than he dresses. Tom might be a couple years younger. Funny because Wendi comes off as their tour guide/chaperone/parent in the video. This is an odd one.
From a couple of days ago, Wendigoon does some awkward group sightseeing in New Orleans and endures "gooning" jokes. Mostly hey drops off a couple of other Youtubers to urbex haphazardly and then picks them up later.
Are these people all in the same age range?
