The dialogue / exposition heavy scenes are really cringe in how heavy handed they are, especially if you have a passing understanding of stalker lore. The rest of it's not all that memorable apart from a select few scenes.

I don't NOT believe the horror stories of tampered candy and whatnot, but I do think the frequency of these things is massively over blown because when something does happen it gets hard focused. Understandably of course. Also why in the world would Meat not just paint his nails normally? Takes like, what, couple minutes at most plus it comes off at the end of the day? Getting a fucking semi permanent, heat treatment is a real tard moment lol

Just started watching it as well, I think they both do much better when not together.
I've gotten the inkling over a few different videos they aren't nearly as friends as much as some may think.
Also doesn't help that SCP is pretty boring today, and they didn't even play it safe and choose the more well known ones, like the statue thing, the plague doctor, etc.
Mentioning the friends part, maybe it's just me but I found it strange that Meat never said anything during the whole IPoS shit. I understand Wendigoon is a grown man and doesn't need a friend coming to his defense and might have even told Meat to not say anything, but if some limp wristed soy fag was slandering my friend I'd say something.

It might have to do with Hunters tendency to make southerners sound retarded.
Side note, do all Midwesterners over compensate for how low class they are by mocking southerners for being low class?

I am pretty sure that a disproportionately large sector of their audience are pooners, if you poke around the discussion on the show on Twitter you find a lot of 5’2” kings in Hawaiian shirts with 🏳️‍⚧️(He/him) in the bio going on about the show and the relationship between the hosts. Also when Isaiah was going over the gifts he got from fans on the Stalker tour there were a lot of vaguely grotesque hand-knit little knickknacks, which is about as much a signal of pooners as you can get.

Idk about mocking them for being low class, but I tend to mock them for coming up north for work and being shocked that snow makes roads difficult to drive on. Especially Texans. Texans were always the worst on any job site. But never for low class, just being ignorant towards the extreme winter weather we get from November-March, and just general "that's not how we do it back in Texas!" comments.
Never had a problem with anyone from Tennessee though. Hell I'd take a Tennessean or even a Floridian over a Minnesotan any day for that matter.

I’d understand backing him up if he was actually getting heat, but everyone pretty much immediately figured out IPoS is a retard and moved on. This “controversy” didn’t put as much as a fleck of dirt on Wendi’s career. There really wasn’t any reason for MC to go out of his way to defend him.

Also completely agree. Why 3000 of all entries? And how the hell do you make that an hour and thirty minutes of content? IIRC it had like, one short tale, and that’s it.

Either way I’m glad they at least finally made it to SCP. On one hand I hope they’re taking suggestions, because there’s a lot of obscure but incredible articles. On the other hand, most of the viewer base are reddit faggots who’d probably suggest the same 10 retarded lore-rot djkaktus wannabes.

To be fair they're not just wannabes, they succeed, which isn't hard to do.

I do hope they cover a specific entry by djkaktus though.
His scp 1 proposal, the ouroboros cycle, which is massively fucking retarded and what I believe was the catalyst of SCP going from fun mysterious catalog of the weird and unexplained, ala a creature feature, to something made up of pseudo-intellectual "not as smart as you think you are" drivel & blatant self insert, immersion breaking, self serving nonsense tales.

I don't give a fuck it's a different canon/universe (alt canons and universes are fucking retarded anyways), having someone "ride scp 682 into battle" is and always will be fucking retarded.
It also reads like an edgy teenager took the storyline an 8 year old made up for having his GI Joes fight his power rangers while lego star wars provides support and wrote a more "mature" version of that.

Start was super awkward it was actually kind of hard to watch. I guess it's hard to shitpost when the both of you are together and not on a discord call.

SCP itself is... okay, I guess? I thought it was gonna be about some alternate foundation using SCPs for their own use and one of them leaked into this reality (probably mistaking it for another entry), but the entire thing is just an explanation for that amnestic they talk all the time. Cool if you're super autistic about the lore, but otherwise it's a simple monster story with not a lot going for it, and some really awkward writing at times. Wish they had done something like 1730 instead, I really liked that one.
