Just started watching the video, but good gosh Isaiah's facial hair is particularly unsettling:

Those lips were not designed with a thin mustache in mind. Definitely one to listen to rather than watch.
Firearms wise Paul Harrell's will be hard to beat, definitely recommend it if you're interested in the topic. Probably a good companion to this video as he only covers a short summary of the shootout's background.

I still think the guy starting it was an idiot going full Leeroy Jenkins and causing the death of two of his coworkers. Like hindsight is 20/20 but just tailing the crooks with backup would have worked better than hoping the psychos driving don't pack something stronger than a revolver.
At some point the situation as it stood at that point would have devolved into a shootout anyway, potentially with somehow worse odds, or letting the suspects get away, and given the investigative and forensic technologies of the time, they guys very likely would have killed a few more civilians by the time the FBI caught back up. It could have gone way better but also could have ended way worse at that point.

Good topic choice for Wendi’s channel.

Paul Harrel’s vid on it is required viewing, one of the best vids on the topic and one of his best vids in general.

Also there was a Drama produced about this event called In the line of duty: the FBI murders that I remember watching and it being quite good.

Has this gold cross on a pole been in his more recent videos? It's my first time seeing it.

Does Wendigoon have it for a specific reason or is it just something cool he likes?
He recreates "Jerusalem has Come" from Kingdom of Heaven with G.I. Joe's, and that would be to scale.

New Creepcast: The Only Other Astronaut on This Mission Died Six Weeks Ago

Shorter one this week.
Good God that bit with Meat and that meowing phone message shit was uncomfortable. Not in a good way either. Even Goon seemed put the fuck off by it while Hunter was just so tickled pink about it. Wendigoon looked like he didn't want to include that at all

The “banter” at the beginning was terrible, but I liked the story a lot. No dumb speculation or deepest lore shit, just a nice short horror story.

I think there's no speculation or deepest lore talk between them because I sense Isaiah is getting fed up with Hunter's shit. He is especially fucking annoying this time. Like throw him out of the party annoying.

Isaiah's fake / semi-legitimately / genuinely being pissed off at Hunter bit is starting to get really annoying now. The Mr. Floppy story and the voicemail weren't even all that bad for the most part. It's getting to the point where it's becoming more unbearable than whatever shit Hunter says.

Story itself was fun. It's cool to see that somewhat cliché horror writing prompt be actually brought to life in an interesting way. It's got a solid foundation, but the writing is so bizarre it keeps it from being a top-tier story:
It keeps doing this thing where the narrator will just go go full-bore into an analytical-style over explanation of whatever action is going on at the moment for some reason. This is especially bad at the end where the protagonist is doing a super risky untethered spacewalk and we're treated to a whole paragraph and a half coldly talking about the risks of the suit puncturing, and then two paragraphs and a half talking about the mechanics of spinning in space... when this is clearly supposed to be a super dramatic life-or-death struggle. It's especially jarring when the whole rest of the story features so little exposition it's blatantly obvious the author did absolutely no research beforehand and has no idea what he's talking about.

Really surprised it was allowed on nosleep in the first place. To me it reads far more like the story should be set in 2172 aboard the USS Stargazer on a top secret mission to Praxis Prime 50 gorillion light-years away from Earth... than Mars in 2018. The Interstellar comparison could be very apt, though I've never watched the movie so I can't really speak about the inspirations the guy might've taken from it. Some scenes do read like he is describing a movie almost.

Edit: Or a comic. Those long-winded narrations while unrelated action is happening is 100% something you'd find in The Dark Knight Returns or something like that.

The story was really good,

BUT FUCKING HELL. The Mr. Floppy bit fell flat. I hated every moment of it. It's like Hunter gave himself a goal of making shock content, but forgot to actually think about it over the break so he defaulted to boring, childish masturbation jokes. And I guess because they needed to pad time they inserted more of the same bullshit two other times.

Three giant, yellow mustards stains on what would have otherwise been a great episode.

Any recommendations to good episodes of Creepcast? Going on a long flight soon
The latest episode was pretty solid despite MC's attempt to do some weird twilight zone esque masturbation joke.

If you're armed at the Glenmont metro is also a good episode.

Tales from the Gas Station is good if you want more horror comedy.

The creepy grab bag episodes can be good too for variety.

I really liked the latest story and their reactions to the story were pretty solid. Love me some sci-fi horror.

Glad Goonboy didn't glaze the story up to the annoying degrees he's gone before and when Meat was focused on the story his reactions were fine. The masturbation joke fucking sucked and was such a bad start to the story I nearly skipped this episode. Agree with everyone else the episode was good, but that joke was the shits.
