Wendigoon Thread

  • 🐕 I am attempting to get the site runnning as fast as possible. If you are experiencing slow page load times, please report it.
This is one of the worst things he did, a full on "this is your brain on Reddit". Basically taking autistic spergs who use an over the counter medicine compulsively as "proof" it is addictive. No fucking shit you start damaging yourself at some point from this behavior. There's nothing surprising here, and taking a drug for more than a week rather than going to a doctor is absolutely retarded. Ditto trying to equate quitting the drug use with going cold turkey.

It's the same line of thought as needing to label video games for addiction.
"Who would be a reliable subject to testify about the potential dangers of addiction? I know, let me go on the website filled with people addicted to fucking upvotes."

Honestly, the quality of the videos being outputted being so low, I wonder if he did actually hire the best he can from that hiring drive or was that just a cover to get around some labor laws so he can hire his friends or acquaintances?

New Slop Video of Wendigoon reading a script about how nose spray is addictive.

Video was informative, but Isaiah's delivery was boring and the looping background music was distracting.
Yeah, this piece is definitely second-channel material.

I'm not bothered by them using Reddit to easily grab a whole bunch of anecdotes; that's where you go to find anonymous anecdotes. This isn't really conspiracy whistleblowing material, though; he's not doing much different that Justin Whang making a video where he reads the top-voted comments from a Reddit thread about pooping.

It does seem like he's getting better at presenting someone else's writing, though. (Or this writer did a better job of writing a script that would sound like Wendi.) It wasn't as stilted, and someone sat him down and made him repeat "oxymetazoline" ten times before starting the camera. Or annotated things phonetically--maybe that's why the "mucocilary clearance" slide was spelled out like that.

If they want nasal horror, they should have researched Empty Nose Syndrome. That'd tickle the scarybone and it doesn't get you the same enemies as reporting on the botched LASIK suicides.

@TheOtherSideofMakeBelieve, have you tried azelastine aka Astepro (it's faster, bro)?
I don't know if I've tried that one specifically but I have definitely tried some nasal anti-histamines to little effect. I do have fairly strong allergies (I take shots weekly) but antihistamines have never done much for me aside from make me drowsy. My problem is mostly structural over inflammatory/allergic. If I see it while I'm shopping tomorrow I'll grab and it give it a shot, I'm always down to try something new

Speaking of antihistamines, a video on benadryl and other anti-cholinergics could be interesting. It could have a nice mix of silly, spoopy, and science talking about the hat man and benadryl spiders and why they show up and why you probably shouldn't do it

It was the only one that ever worked for me but that was back before it was available OTC (and I moved to a less allergy inducing area) so I can't speak to the comparative efficacy of Astepro itself. But if you've never tried it it might worth a shot, although you're right, it's not a vasoconstrictor so I don't know how much help it will be...

I will warn you there will be a bitter and nasty tasting post nasal drip, but it goes away.

Have any of you nasal spray addicts tried local honey? Supposedly it helps with allergies and I can vouch that any time I have a bad allergy flare up and take a spoonful it helps.

I assume the grainier, more dense the honey the better, but for all I know I'm relying on the Placebo effect for relief.
I do local honey as well. And I started doing it with the idea that it was a placebo and wouldn't work, so take that for what it's worth.
I almost never use any sort of medicine for any allergy or sinus related issues since I've started.

My nose has always been dry as a bone so I probably won't have a problem with that. The handful of times I've had a runny nose I actually enjoyed it though so that's definitely not a dealbreaker for me lol

I think it's the same logic as allergy shots, the honey has the local pollen in it so you're basically exposed to a 'shot' that's customized to your general area. Unfortunately it's not just seasonal allergies for me, dust and animals are the worst offenders

That makes sense. Grainy honey is usually because the sugar is crystallizing out, so that'd mean it's more concentrated. All the local honey I've ever had was like that, I assume with commercial honey they add a bit of water to get it to exactly the right smooth and shiny consistency

For the local stuff I think it varies with the season. I have a jar right now that's way runnier than the clover honey you'd get from a super market, but it's also darker. It makes it a pain to just grab a spoon for a single mouthful unfortunately.

Really loved the The Sun Vanished episode lol. Meat immediately not giving a shit was great, and insulting the future-troon's spindly pedophile fingers upon first glance was the perfect reaction. Physiognomy is real

Story itself had some neat moments but didn't really hold up, even the parts I remembered. I did dig the sound design but that's about it

The Schrodinger's Cat tangent was solid gold

I don't know you tell me
Update, the troon unprivated and has been melting down behind the scenes.

Seems like the story is done for good, which I'm not too choked up about because even if this guy was normal his story still sucked.

You may think that this hasn't been that bad, all things considered, but let's take a look at his Bluesky.

Now, what did this "raid" look like?

Here he is whining about how react content is mostly slop (true) and that Isaiah and Hunter bullied him (false and he should kill himself), before wondering if he should post the thread on Twitter.

My favorite part is the fact that his very first post about this on Bluesky is the clip of Hunter saying that his immersion is broken because TSV is so obviously a man (archive)

I don't really like the story, nor episode, nor Hunter in general, but I totally forgot about this clip and it's incredibly funny to me that the tranny hyperfixated on it.

Anyway, it's the fifth day since the initial spergout and I haven't seen any acknowledgement from Isaiah nor Hunter, I'm going to assume they haven't (and won't) see the Bluesky stuff but there was a post on the subreddit literally an hour after the initial tweet so I expect word has gotten back to them by now.

Best case scenario they just ignore it, a more likely scenario is they apologize on the next episode. There's a non-zero percent chance the troon posts that thread on Twitter but currently he's viewed as the victim of misgendering, if he whines about "punching down" and "getting bullied" because youtubers didn't like his shitty story I think that would take away his credibility. Either way I really don't want to see Isaiah grovel at some troon's obviously male feet but I expect some sort of apology coming in the future, even though the page they linked (and presumably used, which is in farsi for some odd reason) doesn't have pronouns on it and the creator presumably wasn't a troon when the thing started.

TL;DR I hate trannies.

It was a good concept with terrible, terrible execution. The long delays show the troon had no idea what to do with what he made so he just floundered until presumably deciding to go all in on OP Mary Sue self delusion.

God, seeing that clip again with the context that TSV is a tranny actively seething about it makes it a million times funnier, appreciate the roundup

Another possibility is they take the video down all together. Does anyone have an archive handy just in case?

When did Isaiah get locked out of Twitter?

Trannie shenanigans?
He was a retard who fell for a phishing scam so hard that not only did he give the scammers his Twitter login info, but also record a video basically promoting their $wen meme coin thinking it was part of the Twitter support authentication process.
