Nothing kills a story for me faster than the author acknowledging audience feedback. The second he said, “your suggestions about taking to ___” I was hard out. And, I may be biased here, but I think everything from that point on was far weaker than what came before. Same thing about the guy trapped on the ghost ship, but still posting to fucking Reddit. Same thing about the guy who took the drugs that made time last forever, but still managed to type out a million words.

I’m fairness to that one there’s quite literally no way to make the dude experiencing time slowed to unfathomable levels writing things down make sense.
I liked that story a lot, actually, but I’m a sucker for that kind of thing. If you know how to do it, the concept of time , specifically eternity, can be terrifying.

Yeah I didn't remember that name but the second they started talking about what the story is bits and pieces all came flooding back to me. I don't remember much about it but I've got high hopes for it

Unrelated to this story, I rewatched the TSV episode and it had maybe the funniest ending possible given the meta-context of the episode. Wendi says something along the lines of "If he was doing something this intricate and detailed when he was sixteen or seventeen then just imagine what he's up to now"

Listening to Mother Horse Eyes after a long long time, holy SHIT this slaps so much harder than what I remember. And now that I am at least a Masters in my conspiracy theorist education, there’s so many little Easter eggs and details thrown in regarding other conspiracy things that it’s just fantastic.

Steven King has done more drugs and more types of drugs than almost any other celebrity I have heard of. I'm talking the weed, the liquor, the DXM, the coke, the valium, the xans, and God knows what else. This nigga straight up did not remember writing Cujo, he wrote whole fucking books off his tits and did not remember a dang thing.

Granted, I'm only 2 hours in, but I'm really starting to think this guy just took a shitload of LSD and made up this highly elaborate crossover event featuring mostly basic bitch-level conspiracy theories & religious (Christian) esotericism that of course LSD is at the very center of. Not to say it isn't interesting, but that's the impression I'm getting so far. The Terry Davis comparison might not be so far off after all

He's like Hunter Thompson but significantly less "cool". Cujo is a great film though, don't remember the book enough.
