Second-channel video on the exploding whale in Florence, Oregon was nice. Wendi was greatly enjoying himself, as you'd expect; it's an inherently interesting and funny story.
- Pronouncing "Oregon" correctly: pleasant surprise.
- Pronouncing the individual letters in ODOT: shibboleth working as expected (oh-dot).
- Going off on multiple mini-digressions wondering rhetorically why the Oregon Department of Transportation was in charge of blowing up a dead whale on the beach: you gotta ride herd on those researchers, dude! Long story short the Oregon coastline was a public highway for legal purposes since 1913, although jurisdictional issues like whale corpse exploding have since been ironed out.

His original Danate's Inferno video is currently sitting at 10 million views. Taking your word for how many subscribers he had at the time, that sounds like a massive algorithm hit which would drive subscriber growth.

Theres a difference between announcing your postion, or creating a problem about it, and being directly questioned regarding the issue.
If it was just like a story having a gay character I'm not asking him comment on it, that would be stupid.
The difference, is that he was specifically asked, to answer would not have been sperging, nor would "taking a stand" have been unnecessary, as again, he was directly asked about it.

Wendi has demonstrated he as questionable tastes, so he would hype up over hyped garbage all day long. But his relationship with these guys is kinda off putting with how hard he fan girls about them, meanwhile he can treat a guy like meat as an equal.

Actually played the game since it sounded interesting. I don't know if I played an old build of the game, but the squadmember AI is absolute unsalvagable and it makes the later stages nearly unplayable in how you need to babysit them, especially around staircases, and they will let you get shot without doing anything. Last mission one squad member legitimately stopped working. Gameplay wise It starts fun but the fact every mission ends with a slog of finding the last civvie or hostile remaining (where good chances you will eventually walk into the hotstile's gun barrel and need to restart from scratch) really ruins the pacing. It also gets absolutely ridiculous how the 5 member SWAT team is being told to kill 20 terrorists. The idea of S grading by taking every enemy non lethally is absolutely retarded and clashes with the tone of the game, putting lore unlockables behind it is also annoying.
As for the content itself, I was surprised how non disturbing it was. Like yeah some imagery is well made, but it's not anything you didn't see before in a horror film, and it doesn't have any real function in gameplay. The plot boils down to the usual government corruption and violence against women, which is just bland by now. Maybe there will be something more in Wendigoon's video but it's not close to being a top disturbing game.

The new Creep Cast episode is a collection of stories from the r/creepcast subreddit, and call me a fucking brain wizard because my prediction is coming true. People are sick of nosleep and just want to write regular fucking horror stories without the gay rules so, when given an alternative, the Creep Cast subreddit will probably become a bit more of a hub for these things.
Especially considering that these two are pretty much the dudes for modern creppypasta stuff, it makes sense that people would start to orbit and post things they made.

About halfway through the episode and the stories so far were a bit average, and predictable, but not terrible by any means.
When I heard the climax of the 2nd story, before the actual reveal, I just imagined a guy with a giant X-Ray machine staring at the protagonist through his window, hence the warmth and buzzing, and being able to see him through the wall, and that made me laugh.
