You saying this does give me a bit of a fun idea. Someone gets a slip, there's two (or more) people with that name, but everyone only has one soulmate. The person with the slip has to decide which of the two is their soulmate, loser gets sacrificed to a demon and goes to literally hell (or just an organ harvesting operation or whatever if you want to keep it realistic-ish), Turns out the council is demons and they've set up a system to ensure a steady stream of breeding stock for human sacrifice

Normally it's fun to try and fix the terrible stories but this one had so little to work with we're basically just trying to completely rewrite it from its overarching premise based on an inaccurate, throwaway joke that got ran into the ground because there was absolutely nothing else to work with in the story itself, this really was the worst thing they've ever read

Also, just as an aside, I've been venturing out into the desolate wasteland that is 'creepypasta narration' youtube and the rules thing just never works. They're always arbitrary and basically force you into a very simple pattern of "get rules->discover note from/ghost of someone that broke the rules->forced to break one rule rendering the rest of the rules moot->escape and go back to normal life." The Sugarbaby story they read is probably the best 'rules' story I've come across because it goes through the story without immediate consequences and then you get that 'o fuk' ending but it still has that arbitrary set of rules and no (satisfying) explanation for why they exist

Upon rereading I realize I worded my post like a retard. What I meant to say is that is my premise for a rewrite, not an analysis of why Hunter titled the video that way. I expected some forced polyamory story based on the title and the beginning of the story, which would’ve been way more interesting than this romantasy dystopia faggotry
 
From the story's title I thought it would've been like that story with the parade that nobody's allowed to watch. Weird insular community dystopia stuff. Instead we got yaoi belly kisses.

They don't read them ahead of time and they definitely seemed to be going into it completely blind. Meat lost his shit laughing when the gay stuff started and then started mocking it so he definitely didn't get any brownie points from the lefties. I think their editors (or whoever they take suggestions from) pick stories that they think will be a good episode and this was probably them trying to instigate a Jeff the Killer/Thing in the Basement good-bad episode

It's actually a solid episode in spite of the story as long as you enjoy the bants. Wendi is fresh off of an all-night twelve hour recording session and Meat is exhausted too for whatever reason and they both just immediately crash out and start shitting on the story probably about three paragraphs in. Wendi doesn't even try to defend it like he usually does with the borderline stories

Definitely watch the Darbo cut if nothing else
 
So many of the stories they read lately give me Deja vu because they’re literally the same as some SCPs, only done a million times better. I swear I read an SCP about an airplane timeloop/purgatory before, it sounds so incredibly familiar.
I know they said they’ll read more SCPs and there’s a lot of amazing ones I think they’ll genuinely love, but unfortunately I have a feeling they’ll only ever read the well known ones.

First story was fine, my guess as to what happened was it was from the perspective of someone caught in a brain in a jar experiment, and when he wasn't looking directly at people they were in low resource mode where they weren't fully rendered, and obviously the 'game' world would revolve around him, hence everyone always staring at him and generally giving him or doing whatever he wanted. Reason for the ban was retarded, 'nothing tangible happened to the character'

I liked the first story, it's not amazing but it was short and sweet, they are on point that it doesn't need a second part or explain what's happening. The rant about nosleep is on point, hopefully people wisen up that this "you need to make so the story is belivable" formula is stale as fuck and retarded

Second story was meh
 
Hunter's nonstop hypothetical during the 2nd story made it great for me. White Knighting the stewardess had me teary eyed.
I wonder how pissy the nosleep crowd are over the guys shitting on their dumb rules. I'm still waiting for the day we get a not so subtle story about the boys from nosleep.

How long until the CreepCast subreddit is full of pedophile spank bank stories? I tried giving NoSleep a chance once and so many fucking stories seemed to be written by people that beat their dicks while reading Tommy Taffy or anything else relating to children getting raped or molested.

Finally got around to reading the Penpal book

When I bought this book I had one fear, and that was my opinion of it would be "only buy this book if you REALLY like the penpal story"
Sadly that turned out to be true.
This book is a very fleshed out and better written version of the original story...but the original story is still very good and FREE, Also there's nothing new, no new reveals, no new chapters, no new characters it's just the same story.
At the end of the day it's still a r/nosleep story and you can feel it sometimes.
If you could get the book for really cheap or even free it is the best way to read it but other than that save your money and just listen to your favorite creepy pasta channel read it.
