TLDW: some random nigger on tiktok got assmad that Meat made fun of someone's movie opinions, and this lead to Anisa's Husband implying Hunter is a far right neo nazi like Charlie(lol). That's it. I wasted 9 minutes on this.

He's 100% going to cry. He's mentioned that his English teacher cried when they read the part that goes something like "He knew only that the child was his warrant. He said: If he is not the word of God God never spoke." And i guarantee that Wendi will also read this part and at the very least get choked up

Kinda wish he waited a couple years before doing this. I get he wants to do it because he is a father now and fatherhood is a big part of the book. But he has only been a dad for like a week at this point and hasn't really experienced much of the trials and tribulations of being a parent and rasing a child.
 
Got about an an hour and 37 minutes in and thought my audio was glitching out, only to find that no he really is censoring the word "Christ" as he reads it. I didn't know that was a thing people did.

Read the book a long while back, I'm liking the video thus far. Unlike some of the YouTube horror whatever ones as of late that I've tapped out on, this one actually has analysis present and isn't merely a plot summary disguised as an essay.

EDIT: Due to this video prompting me to look The Road up I discovered that there was a comic adaptation of it which is quite good. I like the art on it. You can find it at the usual places.

I totally understand not taking the Lord's name in vain and not swearing all the time in personal conversation, but he takes it to a ridiculous extreme to the point where he becomes a stick in the mud. Like in Ruin My Life he refused to say David FUCKING King even though it is one of the best bits in the story.

It’s also the emptiest fucking gesture in the world because he continues to associate with people like MC who will gleefully make jokes about Jesus enjoying zombie buttsex right in front of him and give no more reproach than a stern “oh you” glare. But what’s faith when compared to a sweet paycheck, am I right?

This is my main issue. You cannot actively be friends with and tolerate a man who promotes quasi-zoophilia, and then be all coy about saying 'Fuck' or 'Jesus Christ!'

I remember this one genuinely scared me as a kid, so 90% chance its abysmal dogshit.
 
Had a compilation on while I was grinding some vidya, and Wendi brings up porn a lot more than a sunday school teacher with a finance/wife should, imo. It's especially weird when he brings it up in the context of looking up gay fanfic of him and Hunter.

Remember when he used to self censor so hard he refused to even say simple words like "sex", regardless of context, so he'd change it to "kith"?
