I'd rather any contact with the authors is minimal, else you get a Civvie situation where they just gush on how good it is regardless of the quality since god forbid you tear down a indie hack in current year.

Usually I don't even watch his second channel because it feels phoned in but whoever snuck that one into the script deserves a raise, "harmful impact of wealth" be damned.

It was good, I even enjoyed the Hachishakusama story even though I heard it a million times. I think Hunter's take on the "po po po" reading is kinda off though.

I think they should keep reading stories like that, actual folk tale and legends rather than retards on reddit trying to be Stephen King.

In terms of episodes about actually good stories this is one of the best they’ve done in a while. Creepy Japanese ghost stories are quite gemmy. If they want to do regional urban legends they should definitely do some LatAm countries, there are many, many legends to choose from.

Agreed, that’s one reason why the old creepypastas make for better episodes (most of those authors don’t have any presence, at least not anymore) so they don’t hav to hold back.

I haven't watched the Ready or Not video, because I can't be fucked to listen to 2 hours of Wendi and DemoRanch's brother play a game, but the newest RoN DLC did add in a lot of actual lore and expanded the story a lot, if they actually get into depth about the new lore idk.

You can watch a video on the entire timeline of Metal Gear that isn't 3 hours long. I have a very hard time believing this game has so much actual "lore" he's gotten multiple hours long videos out of it, and an easier time believing Isaiah just doesn't know what brevity means.

The only way to salvage this story is to imagine the narrator was a methhead with psychosis from the start, and the trite satanism is an artifact of the narrator's ignorance mingling with schizophrenia. This interpretation does conflict with the narrator's surprise at discovering pentagrams are satanic (I don't even), but I'd rather imagine that as a hallucination dredged from his subconscious than take something this stupid at face value.

"I can't even trust myself anymore. I don't even know who I am" literally a Dracula Flow line

Edit: damn it, the second and third police report had to ruin this. And here I thought I could run my mouth before finishing it. NVM, I can't even twist myself into pretzels to make this story enjoyable.
