I'd never sit down and listen to it again but I can't tell you how many times I've listened to it to get through work days where I just needed to lock in and not be distracted. It almost comes across like brainwashing kids into being sleeper spies to use against the soviets. It'd probably make a good Wendigoon video if he's ever in the mood to not half-ass a video again. Basic gist is dozens/hundreds of kids remember being in the GATE program, but no one really remembers what they did outside of leaving their normal classroom 2-3 times a week for a few hours and going to a room with either no windows, or with the windows covered, the only thing most of them can remember is trying to learn Russian for no apparent reason

Personal experience, there are a lot of "graphic novel adaptations" of things, for much later ages then when I was a kid and there were Illustrated Classics. I'm not saying "graphic novels are literature" was a psyop so those hipsters would let their kids coast, but it's another barrier to discovering things that aren't 4 kidzz.
