Western Animation - Discuss American, Canadian, and European cartoons here (or just bitch about wokeshit, I guess)

On an unrelated note, Cartoon Network started to appreciate transgenders...

Oh, and check out the comments section.
Surprised nobody made a “car-troon network” joke. :P

Nickelodeon did it too on their Twitter account.

(:_(

Social media accounts for children's entertainment showing their support for gays, lesbians, and bisexuals are fine by me (so long as they keep it age-appropriate and hopefully not too patronizing,) but supporting troons transgender people is incredibly iffy at best.

Children shouldn't be on social media anyway, so I can't say they're actually targeting children here.

And the slippery slope keeps on slipping. 🚬 (Haha the top comments are full of people telling CN off)

Looks like Psychicpebbles' vid got copyright claimed by Warner Bros on youtube. You can only see it now on Adult Swim's website.

To be fair, many of their shows don’t even draw in children despite being aimed at them. They figure they might as well tap into the neckbeard/leg beard market directly.

And the other half are people bragging about putting transphobes on their block list. Typical twitter.

I just don’t get it; these people are always going on about “performative” representation and saying companies aren’t your friend, yet when Nick and CN make blatantly virtue signaling twitter posts they eat it up, going “CN and Nick said trans rights! Yass!” and then white knight for them.

Yep, it's all hypocritical ignorance for these snots.

Let's see if CN and Nick have the guts to do virtue signaling for trans rights in the Middle East. :smug:

On a brighter note, I recently fou d a cartoon that kicks ass.

Gary and his demons

It's about a 40ish hear old man with no fucks left to give after being a demon Slayer for 20 years. It has good fight scenes and at one point he has to guard a henti demon. This does have an much cartoon banging without outright pictures of cartoon dick and pussy that I have ever seen. Gary's a guy with PTSD and at one point he's best friends with a tiger. I love that he hates life and I want someone else to watch it so that I am not sperging alone.

Even though, you know, quarantine.

I hope they make a season two so I can watch him sailormoon transform while hating life.

Explains their taste in cartoons, "everything is good!"

Yeah. I feel bad seeing this channel give in to SJWBS like this, honestly - especially with Gay Space Rocks. I can only hope the new leadership begins to actually back far the fuck away from this as fast and soon as possible, if only to have a real place in the coming counterculture that doesn't see them further BTFO by whatever anime of the month you can easily watch online now, anyway.

This shit is not a good look for anyone, especially not for a channel I was more than proud to watch growing up, too. Now? Not so much, even if there's some stuff that came put in the past decade (2010s) that I did like seeing from them. Not saying examples, though- just telling like it is from my perspective.
