CN is commiting previously alive and spending more money on shows FOR BABIES! ...and no. I don't mean stephen universe (Emotionally not physically in that instance obv.)
Also, probably not a good idea to let CN execs anywhere near babies. You know what the men's room there is like, right?

We’re still in the midst of bringing Cartoon [Network] forward to be an even bigger player in the kids and family universe. We’re going to be launching a preschool [element] of the Cartoon Network life, a family part of our life, and extending [CN] from the strength that it has to an even wider part of the audience both on the channel and on HBO Max around the world.

One of the things we knew we needed to do at Cartoon was be more girl-inclusive, so we’re going to work hard on making that happen. In the US at least, about one-third of all kid viewers are preschoolers, and we weren’t playing in that domain—which seems a little silly.

We will be rolling out a new brand name for the preschool and family block. We’ll unveil some programming, a new tagline and a big pipeline, and we’ll explain how it moves forward between the network and HBO Max. We’re going to reimagine the network within a year of when I started, and I feel very proud of that accomplishment.

I do hope that CN's idea of that is not Total DramaRama, given that a Season 3 of that show is currently in production.

There was this fan series of the Total Drama show called Total Drama Reunion, made by Blu. But apparently Fresh TV shut it down with a cease and desist.


And it's caused a major backlash/sperg out of fans of the Total Drama series that loved this youtube fan version. From what I gathered, they spammed and attack the studio with hate mail and threats on social media. And one of the voice actors addressed it on youtube:

I kept joking that the newer shows looked like something for preschoolers, I didn’t think they’d go all in.

And did actually did have a pre school block for CN years ago; it failed. I’m not sure why they’d want to go a second round.

I'm repeatedly surprised that show even has such a following, afaik when Total Drama Island hit the states it was seen as more of a joke due to its ugly art style. Not surprised to see a fandom go insane because their fan art wasn't appreciated.

A lot of spergs in the comments section are mad at Chris and saying he's "turning his back on the fans".

oh yeah tickle u i actually remember seeing ads for it back in the day. It was basically a rippoff of nick jr and was the first time i ever heard of...ughh PEPPA PIG.
