Is this for real? They’re airing Family Matters on CN? Does that mean they’ll make that episode where the rest of the family disappear and Urkel injects Carl with his DNA so there will be two Steve Urkels?

When I saw that, I though, "Bullshit, some joker just photoshopped the CN logo onto a clip."

But nope, they really did run Family Matters right after Shazam. Also, I see they're still doing that stretch-o-vision bullshit.

Sad, it's become less about cartoons and more whatever WarnerMedia has left in their inventory for a "youth" demographic.

If they wanted Jaleel White and still keep to the "animated" theme of Cartoon Network, why not air the Sonic cartoons (except Underground, because fuck that shit)? Nostalgia factor, AND it's not like it'd be out of place, since Sonic Boom aired on CN (and later Boomerang).

Apparently they played Rogue One and Wonder Woman 2017 on CN recently too.

Are they so strapped for content that they have to play live action stuff that has nothing to do with what CN is about to fill a schedule? If so, then CN is unbelievably fucked.

Having seen CN’s decay the first time around, I can already tell this lead to a dark age even worst than the last, complete with live action. Doesn’t help that, as pointed out, it seems like WarnerMedia is just dickwaving the properties they own, coming across as a second rate Disney Channel.

Related to the above, Family Guy has officially ceased airing reruns on Adult Swim and will move reruns to FXX, along with the return of KotH reruns on TV. Fans are devastated and I personally have no strong opinions on it.

I don't usually like downplaying the strides taken in getting representation out there, but in She-Ra's case they just took established characters and made them gay. That's neither stunning nor brave.

You can tell the main character is the showrunner's ideal husbando because he literally inserted himself as his love interest. Very stunning and brave

oh for the love of! No Owl House got cancelled because after the creator's egos inflated and they got high of their successful first season, they used the second season to cram in things that should really stay confined to the pervey fans and not the official product.

Season two didn't just get backlash because it made the characters lqbtqrstuvwxyz, (though it didn't help) It got backlash because it stopped being a show about a girl learning magic and trying to return to her home and became the creator's desperate attempt at seeking approval by the drooling mobs on social media who don't even watch any shows just praise them every time it says "this character is so totally gay and kawai guys omg so cute!"

ITs a locust mentality, consume product, talk about products with the other members of the community maybe buy a Funko or tee shirt if the company manufactures one, then move on to next product, rinse and repeat.

And buying fan merch off sites like red bubble or Etsy doesn't help. Since those products by definition are fan made, the company behind owl house, she Ra ect doesn't see one red cent for those.
