I feel your pain, heroes are suppose to inspire kids to do the right thing, not teach them to be selfish, immature and rebellious assholes.
I wouldn't mind as much if one of the members was like this, but not the whole cast. Heck, even jerk characters like Guy Gardner has his good side, but from the episodes I've seen of TTG the characters are douchebags with hardly any redeeming qualities.

I thought the Bonkers cartoon was at it's best when it was him and Lucky solving crimes. Miranda (the replacement) was likable, but Bonkers had better comedic chemistry with Lucky.
I'm sure. For some of us, this was the Bonkers we first saw via the Saturday morning "Raw Toonage" program.

At the very least they could supplement it with a straightforward superhero cartoon. It sucks that CN really went full Nickelodeon and smothered any other DC cartoon in the crib.

That's the kind of "heroes" you see in edgy shit like wanted, the boys, the authority and a vast majority of comics made im the late 90s early 2000s

At least bonkers and Lucky gave off those "Rodger and Eddie " vibes.... Even if bonkers was apparently never a Rodger rabbit spin-off to begin with.

For example, you like fantasy? How about creating a universe where each planet is home to a species of magical creatures like dwarves, dragons and trolls? It’s just an example, that’s all.
That isn't bad in itself if you want to go Dune with it. It's really all on the passion the writer has, not necessarily the concept itself. In the case of Disney's MCU, there isn't a lot of passion.

When you keep going for over a decade with no clear direction and after you wrapped up the central story, no doubt you’d lose a lot of passion. Even the DCAU knew when to call it quits after nearly 15 years on the air.

Agreed.

The writer has to have passion for their work, and not a lot of writers have that.

That’s true, while I do miss shows like Static Shock, sometimes it’s best to call it quits. Plus, I like stories that have endings, a satisfying conclusion to a good journey.

That way, I can move on to the next one.

people now a days believe everything needs to be deconstructed so characters can make quips every 5 seconds like "Hey guys isn't this costume stupid" or they need to have characters make complete a 180 so they can say "Were mature now, no fun allowed"

It was funny at first when non-superhero characters were like that, but even then, a lot of superheroes in older media were still paragons. They might seem boring to some, but one has to note that children are easily influenced by those they look up to. Then you got Teen Titans Go or whatever were their heroes aren't really heroes and they don't suffer consequences either. There's that weird streak of nihilism and apathy that children would get from them.

Imma be honest, I love TTG. I understand the criticisms posted here, but the show is funny as hell to me. It honestly feels like a kid version of Drawn Together for better or worse. Some of the jokes they put in that show are truly “what the hell?” moments. I also feel like it is one of the few modern cartoons that can actually clap back on their haters without sounding like a pretentious douche. Some of the criticisms they address are so specific that it was funny to witness, and their responses are typically even funnier as they feel like they were made by some asshole kid forced by the teacher to give a presentation, so they made it as sarcastic and fuck you as possible. There is a weird level of clearly not giving a shit in that cartoon that I feel makes it funny.

Side note: The music is also pretty good in the show for whatever reason.

IDK, there is something very likable about TTG for me that I think got tarnished by its clones such as PPG 2016. PPG is just insufferable, probably because it thinks it is way smarter and hip than it is, see their weird episode on transgenders. TTG is the opposite in that it couldn’t give less of a shit most times.
