This looks painfully generic. I can't wait for all the relevant real world jokes from 2019. Is the new trend having cartoons look and feel like Rick and Morty instead of Family Guy and The Simpsons?

I know no one is going to give a shit because its not about a show by Nick, Disney, or CN, but a movie just came out called CryptoZoo

Its an adult animated psychedelic drama with Michael Cera in it. Story is flat but goddamn its creative as all fuck.

It's a new Disney Channel cartoon and it's half decent...so far. Dana Snyder (AKA Master Shake) is the best part and the only reason I wanted to watch it in the first place. The MC is le quirky hyperactive gril along with a bunch of other generic human characters. The animation is actually really good, but Mercury Filmworks always does a great job.

The thing is about these shows is that they almost always start out decent, if not pretty good, before going downhill immediately (Star Vs).
btw the show hasn't officially released yet (that's today) and the threads on /co/mblr are already complete cancer.

In other news apparently the Cuckflix He-Man reboot (NOT the Kevin Smith one) is pretty good too, but I haven't watched it yet. Too bad they killed all goodwill with Revelations so even if anybody has heard of the other MOTU reboot nobody will want to watch it for fear of it being completely terrible.

I watched the first two episodes already, and it actually seems like a pretty decent show. Episode 1 kinda felt a bit rushed, but Episode 2 was much better.

So overall, I like Ghost and Molly McGee so far

One thing that has struck me time and again is how much raw talent you see from cartoonists, animators and illustrators online and you also realize how rigged the animation industry has to be to keep so much of this talent from getting to shine in television and films. Lowered standards make it easier for executives, after all.
