Spielberg was on good enough terms regarding Roger back when the series was being made that there could have been a Roger series - the last short was from 1993. Probably would have been nothing like Bonkers, though.
And it would have been a helluva lot better than the weekend at Bernie's they're playing with his corpse in the upcoming chip and dale reboot.
That reboot is nothing but peppering corpses.
The ogre and donkey both have turned drinking age. (Probably wrong on the Shrek canon, but for this case, I’ll let it slide.)
And it's a shame because it's not like the idea would have been a failure. Ducktales 2017 was probably the best reboot in years, and they had a darkwing duck episode that showed the potential for a reboot of that show. But they had to go and screw the pooch five ways to Sunday with chip and dale. I guess it's a small mercy it's only a made for Disney plus movie and not a whole show.
Because it is very bad,all the characters have been ‘flanderised’ for lack of a better term, even more than they were in season 3. The plot is completely aimless and is just one long poorly thought out chase scene after the other of the cast running to random locations away from The Seth McFarlane Robot ISRAEL. The jokes are mainly just crude gross out humour but with none of the cleverness of the original show, hell even the main Drawn Together creators themselves Dave Jeser and Matt Silverstein admitted they had no ideas for thé movie. So they made any random crap they wanted. The whole thing is just a big missed opportunity I feel.
Absolutely, even though I don’t particularly love shows like Amphibia or Craig of the creek, or most of Nickelodeon’s stuff throughout the late 2010s at the very least they are original shows that have some creators interested in telling unique stories with approaching things from a unique angle. I’d take another Uncle Grandpa over another spongebob show any day. A creative failure is way better than a recycled nostalgia bait show any day.
As I said... I think the porn people have drawn of gadget for the last 20 odd years was less horrific than what two hacks implied with that. This shit put me in such a numb and sour mood after I saw it, I've been working since it finished and while I feel less bitter now. I'm gonna go home and re-watch the original chip and dale and try to wash the stench of this garbage out of my mind.
How I feel. Or stick to the original shorts from the 40's and 50's and be happy those still exist.

oh there's another plot hole for you they never ONCE address the chip and dale cartoons from the golden age of animation, if they even existed at all. IF you didn't wanna imply the chip and dale of the 80s-today aren't THAT old just have the original C and D cartoons from back then be their fathers or grandfathers. IT'S ONE SIMPLE FIX...I get the two hacks who wrote this crap probably did so in like a week but come on! I came up with that lieelt fix in like one minute.
