Based on the article, it says the upcoming installment with the Beast Wars characters is a soft reboot of the live action continuity. So basically the five movies done by Bay look to be the old continuity while I would argue that Bumblebee was the soft reboot.

This is just the X-Men film series all over again. And every Transformers continuity has the basic points for Optimus, Megatron, and the war that is another origin story really necessary?

Can't wait for Hasbro to team up with Disney to do a live-action X-Men/Transformers film by being yet another soft reboot of the two. and retconning in a flash. Then, do another Days of Future's Past to retcon even more.

@Oilspill Battery maybe calm down on all the political sperging in cartoons, still thing your cool though. In other sad news in the animation world the Tiny Toons Looniversity had its official teaser Trailer today. Looks like the changes are permanent sadly to say, I hope it can at least surprise and be as good as the 2011 Looney Tunes revival cartoon. But that seems highly unlikely.

Sadly never, as industries have become smarter to the point where greenlit most intellectual properties until they finally realize that these said IPs failed hard.

I love the fact that the people who make the most fucked up shit in the world are almost always nice people. John K is a notable exception of course because he was just a bog standard ephebophile who was openly perverted that made one good cartoon.

Well, one thing I’ve learned in life is some people might be a bit strange but that doesn’t mean they’re always nasty people.

As for people like John K, if they act openly perverted or something in public, they’re might be something wrong with them.

So this is more my thoughts on the thread in general but to expand on something I posted on yamma Damma's profile.


Having chats about animation in this thread reminds of two similar experiences in life. being a kid in a tree hosue and having other guys over to discuss cartoons, comics, and other stuff in general (you can say discussing lolcows is the equivilent of discussing the weird kids in the neighboorhood like the slow in the minds who eat their own snot) and doing the same thing years later in college only with the soads and chips replaced with coffee, smokes, and maybe if anyone was "Holdin" a bong or some blunts. plus expanded to included movies, art, litrature, music and pollitics.
