it's incredible how they've gone from making a few questionable decisions to getting assraped by backlash in a string of multiple (black Ariel, Primos, then doubling down on both) over the span of MAYBE a week or two and yet they haven't learned their lesson whatsoever lol
They didn't even add the right Flounder here, that's just the animated one from the first movie not the abomination from the remake
That's such basic failure to keep consistency that it's astounding
Here's hoping the kid's show fails like the remake did, even though it absolutely won't

I want to be cautiously optimistic about CR2 since this is ardman were talking about, but let's be honest they haven't been on their A game since Peter Sallis died. They haven't gone "full retard" the way Pixar has but their last few productions Shaun the sheep and Early Man weren't as good as their best hits.

Chicken run 2 feels like a desperate attempt to recapture the glory days. Desperate for some semblance of their success.

I feel bad cause WB actually makes good animation or at least they did with all the tv capeshit adaptations. Even if most of them are terrible in writing the animation is really excellent and theyre still doing it. I think Batman doom came to Gotham came out this year, it was the adaptation of the Mike mignola elseworlds story. Reviews seem to say that it's mediocre but at least it's not spitefully awful like Velma.

By being as uninspired as possible. I saw this movie, it was a terrible snorefest all the way through. Think about A Land Before Time but with the most cliched underdog story possible, with a human as a pet.

How do you fuck up a dinosaur movie? It seems like just having a dinosaur in it would give you an opening weekend.

There was a reason The Good Dinosaur was in development hell and Lee Unkrich stepped down as its original director. There were some script/story issues they had to push through, and it shows, if you can ever remember anything about it after watching it. The visuals were also rather jarring with cartoony-looking dinosaurs and humans in a hyper-realistic environmental setting. Like it was more jarring than WALL-E, which had an actual plot justification for the blobby humans to begin with.
