Got recommended this short film by youtube and thoroughly enjoyed it. I may take the piss out of the French for their Frenchness, but I'll always appreciate their deep love for animation.

When Adult Swim does weird shit, they get very, VERY creative and hilarious with it. Infomercials is the best example
Sadly, this can't be said about most modern adult animated shows on Adult Swim (or hell, any network) these days, except for something like Smiling Friends

Infomercials was such a great concept, I wish AS had what it takes to bring it back without it sucking. My favorite has to be Cool Dad

It's sad what Adult Swim has become by the time they were considered the mostly Rick & Morty channel. Sure, they might be bringing back Aqua Teen and all, but it's sad that many things that are on are either lazy or boring, except for Smiling Friends or Primal among other things, which are more return to form.

Sorry frenchies. But nothing, and I mean nothing will ever make me forgive you for the horror that was Peepoodo.

You can make an animated short about da Vinci painting the Mona Lisa in the style of a DaVinci painting come to life and all still have a chip on my shoulder. Sides the Mona Lisa belongs to Italy, amd there's one animated Leonard DaVinci.

Two Many Cooks is great! And it's brilliant as a metaphor for seasonal rot which hits long-running adult animated shows especially hard. Their Smart Pipe infomercial is a good satirical take on the Internet of Things and the invasivity of smart devices, too.

I think the only genuinely big thing they did after they cancelled MDE WP and became the Rick & Morty channel was Samurai Jack's final season. Nothing after that's really felt terribly notable. I mean half of Adult Swim just seems to be anime and Futurama reruns now.

I'd say brownie points for still airing reruns of Futurama, King of the Hill and American Dad, but they've gotten rid of Family Guy, of which what made Adult Swim more popular when it first aired reruns. And I'm still pissed that the network cancelled Unknown Hinson for and for letting Tim Heidecker get rid of Sam Hyde's show.
 
Maybe this is wrong threat (its not western and its web animation (no one goes to the Web Animation thread) but want to introduce to the Michael MK. Ukrainian animator who made many absolute kino animations and I would like you to check them out. Almost all of them have manually made English subs.

I've forgotten how underrated Time Squad was. It's one of these CN shows that needs more love these days
 
Btw the 7th season of big mouth dropped last week. litterally 7 minutes in a faggot high schooler introdes HIMself with, "my name is ocean my pronouns are they them." This...this is how the fuckers behind this garbage think zoomers talk to each other (and sadly in some cases do) and how they WANT people to address each other in the future. Pardon my going doomer but, Every day as i look out on the sunrise over New York I can't help but think the biggest sunrise of them all would be a gift from God right about now. You know what kind I'm talking about.

No I'm not hate watching it. Momma always said you cant say you hate something without experiencing it.

Just take solace in knowing we only have one more season of this bullshit.
