Unless you were a massive Teacher's Pet/Sports Star, High School is pretty much a universally horrible experience.
It's like a weird fake boring job where everyone acts like a dick and you have little in the way of agency. I know that the comparison to prison is well worn and mostly hyperbole but after reading lots of ex-con testimonies I can't help but agree.

I pity the Japanese; who have assigned it as the unfortunate mechanism that determines the rest of your life.

And if you thought the Japanese had it bad, then you should also see the Chinese and Koreans.

China has things such as kids being pressured into crunch time levels of studying, to pass the competitive college entrance exams, which is seen as the way to get out of poverty, by getting a good education and a well-paying job. The fact that the government is also cracking down on entertainment (i.e. the 1 hour weekly limits on online gaming) doesn't help either.

And Worst Korea has all of the negative aspects of China and Japan, (i.e. long working hours, lower birth rates, higher suicide rates) but multiplied exponentially. It's to the point that some Koreans even mock Japanese for having a lazy worth ethic. And while Worst Korea bans pornography outright, that resulted in those men putting video cameras in restrooms and other private places, to get material to wank to, which is even worse.

use someone less edgy than the ledger joker and rewrite the text to be more close to reality and less alex jone's version of diary of a wimpy kid, and then it'll be more accurate. ex: No I wont miss being treated like a child while also being expected to act like an adult. I wont miss being made to follow college and even office level rules while still taking basic juvenile courses that wont mean jack all in real life, and most of all i wont miss being mocked and heckered by a bunch of people who will peak a year at best after i graduate and leave this dump for good.

also funny how you and @Thiletonomics bring up the pressure asians go thru to be better than us cause on a slightly unrelated note and my apologies for bringing up big mouth again but they did something that legit shocked me...and not in the way they usualy do.

It's amazing they flat out say to their audience of unwashed, smelly, fat, unshaved discord mods. "Hey losers stop jerking off all day and actually put some effort into your lives and you wont be unhappy, fat, unhealthy, gross pervs"....So of course this was undone by the end of the episode and the little turd went right back to being a skeevy little coomer. You know if it was any other show I'd write it off as "status quo is god" but like a lot of Netflix adult animation Big is trying to at least break out of that cliché. No no they embraced it this time because why would we want a show where the gross, unsightly little bastard actually gets a good dose of reality in his life and puts effort into turning it around for the better? No no eat the bugs, drink the soy, live in the pod, and whack off to cartoons all day got to support "the message." ™️

What do you get a man who's given so much? saw the deaths of the old kings (Walt Disney, Tex avery, friz freeling, ect) lead the rise of the new gaurd (him, bluth,) and the young bloods (bruce timm, tom rueger, danny antonucci, Gennady Tartakovsky,) and is now living to see it all be desecrated by the last generation? (terrance, hirsch, crowley and amer) old man bakshi's seen plenty of sunrises and sunsets..the biggest sunset of them all can't be too far away. You give him best wishes and condolences given how shit this industry has become.

The irony of it all being that SpongeBob is absolute trash now. The main show is unwatchable ADHD trash, the Patrick Star Show is that plus grotesque gross-out humor, and Kamp Koral has terrible CGI and is an insult to SpongeBob's creator, who never wanted the characters de-aged. RIP Steven Hillenburg.

God, it's funny though that you bring up Catscratch and Mighty B. I remember Catscratch having a few good moments, like Waffle's whole "Waffle World" speech, and while Mighty B I didn't think was all that good, there's a bit where they go to some museum and one of those "in the future, doctors will be able to do this or that" videos plays, ending with "and just imagine what the year 1995 will bring!" that just cracked me up for some reason.

Do physical toys go as strong today as they did 30 years ago? Most parents put their children with an iPad to scramble their minds rather than a physical toy they interact with and use their imagination on.

So? If ai doesn't end up being the automation those Hollywood tards thought it would be and end up replacing them, there's always recasting. They had no qualms replacing Tim Allen and that was because he was unpersoned for going against "the current thing"™️

It's sad that Paramount is treating SpongeBob as the number one brand for marketing purposes, as with other big name companies. A classical tale of Faust has been read by everyone, but that tale slips the minds of said everyone. When an original creator created something good and original, said creator to sell its soul to a big conglomerate and ruin it by being a marketing machine.

These shows are return to form with 90s-era shows. The Mighty B, especially, given the whole Ren & Stimpy art aesthetic.
